    After playing around with game variants for a while Ive noticed my map no longer autostarts. While this would be great for a map higher up in the popularity list for me this means one afk host can sit in a lobby and be very frustrating. So I was wondering how the autostart feature works and how I can enable/disable it, thanks for any help.

    posted a message on Top Down Arena Shooter

    Hi everyone, I'm new to the site so if I've posted this in the wrong place or something please tell me.

    This project I'm working on at the moment developed from just tinkering with the editor to a more fully fledged idea. I wanted to make a shooter (not too original I know) that wouldn't require any difficult scripting/triggering beyond my capabilities, that would look fine on lower graphics settings (many of the shooters I've tested don't look great on my puny computer) but most of all would have interesting gameplay. So this is the summary of my map so far:

    • Standard Starcraft camera
    • WASD movement and jumping your unit will always face your crosshair
    • Multiple weapons with many varying attributes such as AOE damage, bullet penetration and multishot for shotgun like effects.
    • Bouncing grenades (currently the bouncing is not affected by the slope of the terrain so if anyone has any ideas of how to implement that please tell me)

    Unfortunately my map is currently missing:

    • A professional looking UI (I'm currently using boss bars)
    • Scoring system (could add multikills/killing sprees etc.)
    • Good looking and well designed terrain
    • Needs a couple more weapons
    • Custom models for projectiles or guns (currently guns you can pickup are just spheres with a name by them xD)

    I'm looking for suggestions and feedback and if someone wants to they could do some map design.

    I've made a video to demonstrate some of the weapons and progress I've made so far.
