Ok, this is wonderful for people who can script or code but I have no idea what the hell you're talking about. Other than that, I tried to use the triggers to do exactly what you said, with the shakuras skybox, and the sky is still just black in-game and in the editor. What else do I need to do?
Ok I figured it out. You need to apply the camera view for the player to your camera object over 0 or how ever many seconds, etc, then lock the camera so they cant move it, then you need to both apply the default game camera then pan the camera to a point/region, otherwise it will go to the bottom left corner. Then unlock.
I'm still working on it, but I'm having a lot of problems especially with generic attacks- because you won't know the unit uses it until you search to see if it has an actor for it. Even so, I have no way of knowing which Launch Point is the right one. When I see a model the viewer, all I see are the names of bones and animation attatch points, not anything that appears in the attatch query list.
No, dude, read my post, READ IT. You just explained to me how to make those effects while your text was not affected. I tried to fix mine by changing the mark up type and it did not work. Why not? What could I have done wrong in this ridiculous process?
Hey, I want my map to start with everyones camera facing a certain direction. I made the camera prop and angled it properly, but I cant figure out how to use triggers to at least as a test just have the game start off with the camera facing that direction. also, when it's done, i want the camera to stay like that until a difficulty for the game has been decided and not a set ammount of time, so like, what the hell.
Ok I see now. I appreciate it that you took the time to explain, but I still think you should never have had to explain it whether that's my fault or the site's.
One thing I do want to ask though, is why the hell is WikiCreole the default? Why not BB code?
We're a medium sized community with different branches, so I've made our mapping team here in Mapster.
We use the regular forums and not our own so we can have people see it and suggest things to it. We go for detail and fun over "whats cool".
Anyone is free to join and we'll help eachother, etc etc. Just e-mail me at [email protected] with your name on this forum, in sc2, and contact info is a MUST.
I tried to use dashes to make separation lines because you can't have paragraphs with more than one space in between them. Then I get all this red bullsh. I admit, reading this I do see the bullet points button, but why can't we have anything else? Why do *'s -'s and other symbols automatically make everything in the text a certain color or some bull?
see and half of that paragraph is bold for no fucking reason. how did that happen?

I found out I had to set the far clip for the cameras I wanted to use to the max. Thanks for mentioning that.

this link leads to a thread we use to talk about any of the projects we're working on.
I could probably be doing this a bit easier but this website is driving me nuts so I haven't looked into the "special things" we can do.
I hear there's a button for auto-circle jerking somewhere, but I haven't found it.

thats what my whole thread was a bout and you just whisked over it.

Hi, I just want to know if you have formulated around this, because I see that this forum has an ingenious way of making life difficult for everyone.
