Either way, I love it. There are already so many publicly shared movement/camera systems, score boards, and such that it would probably only take someone with previous experience a handful of hours to make a rudimentary version of this with at least 5 different games, probably more.
With first person, 3rd person over-the-shoulder, top-down, GUI-based, and classic SC control schemes... you could do so very much.
