You can't create MMOs for SC2 obviously. SC2 multi is for quick games that end in no more than an hour, very different than Escape Velocity. If you want an MMO version of it you can try EVE online.
You should put the texture inside a folder named Textures which should be inside a folder named Assets. Then import Assets. Also, the textures have to be either tga or dds.
There are a list of unused effects you can find in the previewer. Under protoss there are some for a unit called "phalanx". You can also find the soul hunter beam effect. The units themselves aren't there though.
You can also find a model for a zerg unit called a "fatty" I think I remember seeing it infesting terran buildings in an early preview video for starcraft 2. They also have the lurker and swarm guardian models.
what's up with the time stamps on these posts? I did not post this 2 hours ago.
The lurker isn't exactly hidden, it's a full fledged unit in the campaign.
My unit won't be targeted correctly. That is, it is hit correctly as long as it stays still, but when I move it, well
In case of projectile weapons they are shot at the general direction of my unit and then explode in mid air if the unit moves. The model has ref_target, ref_hardpoint, ref_damage, ref_origin, ref_center, ref_head and ref_overhead.

Did you download the plugin and placed it in the plugins folder? If you did, you should have Starcraft2 on the rollout of the helpers tab.

First you need to put the attachments in max and in the "Attachment ID" call the first one "Weapon", the second one "Weapon 01" and so on.
edit: sorry I meant "Ref_Weapon"

You know how to use the skin modifier?

Delete the bones of the high poly model and the low poly mesh and weigh each bone.

It has to be editable mesh, it says so in the readme. Use bones if you want to make animations, which you obviously do.

Has anyone managed to successfully import a unit model to SC2? If yes I'd appreciate if that person helps me with my problem.

After I finally managed to figure everything out, here it is.

It works! It works! I suppose exiting and reentering the editor did the trick. Now, to get it ingame...

Nope, nothing. It's not green, but still not showing.
