Hey. Ever since Patch 13, I have been unable to open the editor because of the lack of a LocalizedData file. Unfortunately, that only comes in the "patch-enUS.SC2Archive" file that comes with patching, and my Blizzard Updater is not correctly applying the patch (it's looping).
I need somebody with a working GE to open up the directory, "C:/Program Files/Starcraft II Beta/Versions/Base 15449" and upload the "patch-enUS.SC2Archive" so that I can use the GE again.
Thanks in advance! Also, it has to be the US client, unfortunately.
In order to remake my map, I'll need to know exactly how many game seconds are in a real-life second, in order to sync it with the cinematics timing.
EDIT: Alright, hopefully I fixed it, although it might be totally off. Can you take a look at it and tell me if anything looks funny, before you record it?
Ugh. I'm having troubles with my map >.> My computer is too slow to be able to accurately play the cinematic at the correct pace, so I have no idea how long it actually is. Because of this, I'm going to "give up" and turn in what I have. I was going to add a scene with a Thor vs an Ultralisk, but play-testing was getting out of hand because of lag D:
Anyways, I need someone to record it. It ends after the SC2 Mapster logo fades away. It might be a minute, judging by the timed triggers I used. If it's over a minute, it's probably the logo that pushes it over :P Would it be acceptable if having the Logo in the map itself pushed the video over by a few seconds?
I've figured out what was wrong with my game: The latest patch didn't create a "patch-enUS.sc2Archive" file. I just had to copy the one from v15133, and it worked. Unfortunately, this means none of the fixes in Patch 11 for the Editor will work for me >.>
Can somebody upload their patch-enUS.sc2archive from patch 11 to Mediafire or something? I'd like to access those files. The directory is: "Starcraft II Beta / Versions / Base15250 / patch-enUS.sc2archive"
I've started making a FPS just to get used to the editor, and I'm having troubles with a lot of things >.>
First off, I can't find a way to create a crosshair in the middle of the player's view (aka where the cursor is).
Second, having the unit turn in the direction of the cursor is something I'm having troubles with
And finally, I can't even get the camera into First Person position >.>
...Basically, it's closer to a third person shooter right now :P Can somebody help me?

Aw, I didn't have enough time to fix my GE error to fix the timing on my map D: Oh well, it was a nice learning experience.
VERY cool maps! I'll have a tough time voting.

Oh, wow, the lag on my computer totally changed the timing of everything D:
I think I might be able to re-make the entire thing using only game-time, but I don't know >.>

Thank you, mrm3fan ^_^
I figured as much. The last Real-Time trigger I used was at 52 seconds, and I took my sweet time getting to the logo. I hope it's acceptable :D
I hope it didn't turn out too stupid. The AI acts differently every time I ran tests, which really sucked.

Is there a tutorial on cinematics out there? I'd really love to try and make one, if only to learn.

A more efficient way of doing this is just making a Periodic Event (Events -> Timer -> Periodic Event) and have the Actions modify the minerals.

Is anybody else having trouble starting up the Galaxy Editor? Mine says:
"Unable to load 'LocalizedData/Editor/EditorStrings.txt'
Core: a required object could not be found"
I can't even play customs now >.>
