I've already stated on the Blizzard forums that i refuse to work on my map any more until they fix some of their shit. I've spent the majority of beta working on my map as well, so it's really disheartening.
I don't like my last name, it draws unwarranted insults and i'd rather not have internet kiddies target me like it's bloody elementary school all over again. I'm very opposed to this, and the company's current and future direction.
Some constructive criticism. Having the bars on the opposite end of the picture from the percent is confusing. Having the choice box for voting so close to the next picture is also confusing (usually clickable things are located top left, not bottom left). The pictures also overlap and obscure the result bars.
Site Operations work great, thanks guys!
I was a bit confused at first but since i had just finished the Uberlisk tutorial i kind of knew where to find the site operation, how to make one, and how to input the value to the actor. The Reaper Arena helped really nail it in my head though.
Can anyone find a workaround to rotating units on their Z-axis? I can't seem to find how to do this. =(
I want to be able to have a unit permanently rotated. (Think a marine, prone; or a medivac in a vertical spaceship launch position).
Or a doodad that could be creatively used at a different angle.
Haha no, this is a map with a series of fun minigames, designed to be a free for all, but the true potential of it is when you have 14 players simultaneously playing. Not just a judge, a computer, and 12 empty sides of the map. I'm just wondering if getting the full 14 players is going to be a challenge to judge or not, that's all.
There's alliance changing functionality within the game, right beside the "share unit controls" i believe. You need to enable it in a custom game lobby before-hand though. I think there are also triggers that can detect alliance changes, and change existing alliances.
In the year 2552 Kel-Morian Combine launched an attack on a Braxis Alpha outpost in the Koprulu System.
Best viewed in-game or fullscreen.
The sound quality didn't turn out right in the video, and Youtube didn't get the size right, so i've asked mrm3fan to upload a better version for you guys =)
It took quite awhile to make, and I learned a lot, so if you have any questions on how I achieved certain effects, send me a PM!

1. Best Technical Achievement
2. Best use of animations
3. Most creative multiple doodad, unit, or building use. (Stretching, attaching, colouring; making it artsy, functional, or realistic, etc.)

If a map plays best with 14 players and no computers, will this count against us somehow?
