The macro actually wouldn't be too hard to write, I could do it if I wanted to try and remember how to write AutoIT, but I honestly expect Blizzard to fix this soon enough anyway. If anyone feels like doing this anyway AutoIT isn't too terribly hard to learn.
I haven't really messed around with it, but has anyone figured out how conversations work? I know it's based on recalling stored data, but I'm not exactly sure how to set it up. I've just been using transmissions instead, which works perfectly fine for the maps I'm making, but it's something I think would probably be more efficient.

Alright I figured out a method that should work, I'm sure there's a simple-er way but I don't know it yet.
Events:
Unit - Any Unit Enters (Entire map)
Conditions:
((Triggering unit) is Required: Ground, Worker, Can Have Shields; Excluded: Biological, Buried, Dead for player 1) == true
The condition is Unit Filter Match in case you can't find it.
On the condition just make sure the filter will include only your probe and you're good to go. In the actions refer to Triggering Unit to refer to your probe.
Is there any way to enforce the fog of war during cinematic mode without custom scripting? If not, it there any way to make the UI transition in otherwise?
You need to attach the appropriate actor. Go to the data editor, open up actors, search for psi storm, and copy the actors (when I looked there's 5 of them to copy). Apply the copies to your Psi Storm ability. On the other hand you could use the original ability rather than making a new one. Good luck
Make sure you have the Korean character pack installed on your computer. If you can see the text outside of the game, it might have to do with the game client's localization. If that's the case your best bet is to find someone with the Korean client and ask them to test it.

I got 2 beta keys about a half hour ago, so I can confirm it's happening. Gave them to some irl friends.

Use a launcher and play it against StarCrack AI. You can find that stuff over at Darkblizz

I don't really see any point in doing this. As MasterDinadan said, you can just use the data editor.

Hey does anyone know how to create a pickup-able item like in SC1? This has kind of got me stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sweet! I have some irl friends who would really love this
