My guess is change the spawned unit to a custom building with a footprint that has a hole in it. Doesn't seem to work with forcefields because they don't use footprints, they use the normal unit collision system.
Don't think so... You could try modifying it's vision manually (make everything fog of war or sth), but haven't tried myself yet. 14 players is already more than I need :)
Looks good, although it also sounds a bit too much. Try to focus on smaller parts instead of trying to create this omgwtf epic game unless you have a dedicated team behind you.
How'd ya manage to give the morph food cost, anyways? It doesn't cost food for me... Stats - Supplies of the Baneling should be the same as Stats - Supplies of the Zergling.
What I mean is: you create 2 players, and give one of them all the upgrades and the other none.
Then you change the owner of the unit to the upgraded player. This is the easiest way to do it as far as I know.
If you do it with cinematics mode in front of the transmissions: change the time it takes for cinematics mode to initialize to 0 or put a wait after the 'go to cinematics mode' that takes like 2 seconds.

Pictures don't show up for me...

There should be something like add button to dialog that will solve your problems :)

My best guess is to remove the standard cost of units and change them into triggers.

@SCMapper: Go
So technically it's possible by just replacing the entire UI?

Looks pretty darn good. I won't believe until I see some gameplay, though :)

Variables containing the information? I don't know how heroes work yet, so it's just a wild guess :)
