Why dont you just make it where when U cast Dark swarm you summon a dummy unit and using Issue Order effect make the dummy cast dark swarm therefor you have a static dark swarm
Just make the dummy invisible unclickable etc

When I have my hero learn its spells is there a way to remove the spell from the learnable area once its reached its max level?
Like say my spell has 3 levels and I just got the 3rd level I dont want to see it in the learnable area anymore cuz there is no use
Uhm well i know the general idea
They are like class object that contains models, animations, and sounds
They are applied to units, spells, effects, just alota stuff they are linked through the actor itself using a Token
When making a completely custom unit you have to make a copy of a prexisting actor of the models you want and link it to the unit
Along with new spells that have actors connected to them
Search function is quite useful when doing this :D

Well I know I can do that but I want to know for future cases
For when say I wanted to create my own spell with its own persistent and effect
Or say if I wanted to edit the visual effect of guardian shield
It just seems weird to me that all create persistent effects have hidden attachments to actors

Basically you goto the actor of your hero and find "Events - Terms" and add an event for psionic storm
Make sure to look at previously added ones to get the idea, for psionic storm i would look at the templar and compare learn w.e :D
But I find it quite interesting that animations can have events its like triggers :DDD

I cant find the link anywhere
It seems like all Persistent Effects have hidden actors connected to them well the already added ones.
Has anyone noticed this or is there some hope?

Ok well there's an actor for ghost snipe ability it has 2 models, launch and impact
Now i was messing with scales etc with each but I realized the launch model is weird in the fact that it only shows it the first time you use the ability and then it will do it rarely and randomly, and Im very disappointed cuz the model looks amazing... but only for the first stupid shot x.x
The impact always works and it looks dumb at a large scale xD I just dont understand D:
Can anyone explain to me why the launch model only shows up once for sure? I almost wanna say its a garbage collection thing but I cant be certain >.<

No no theres 2 effects in game
Create unit and Issue Order they rr effects for spells and not triggers at all
Just create a new effect and select Create unit type
Then create another effect and select Issue order

Theres a pathing layer now in the terrain editor It seems much more useful than the doodad pathing blockers.
