    trial and erroring some more.... my turret no longer follows the unit that it's attacking. you know like it's looking at them while it's shooting them. uugggggh

    this is a huge step up from the WC3 editor and it's driving me nuts! i've been at it for 2 days now and i can't figure half of this crap out lol.

    so here's the deal. i found a youtube tutorial making a basic tower defense. i follow this tutorial on making the new basic tower... right click duplicate the photon cannon. check most of the stuff that appears to be important(not checking stuff like birth things and death things).

    i've ran into so many problems and through trial and error corrected a bunch of them but was not clear on HOW i solved them... but now i have an issue where the new tower is shooting the missile out of the BASE OF THE TOWER. the "turret" still follows the unit but the projectile isn't coming out of the turret.. it's coming out of the base of the tower. wtf

    is there a tutorial / wiki / some kind of page or something that lists all the different elements of a unit and how they act and what they should be linked with? i've searched the tutorial section of this forum and im not finding anything helpful

    Hello i'm new to these forums. i've spent the last couple HOURS searching youtube and google for tutorials and help before i finally decided to get on a forum and ask.. (im also new to the SC2 editor for that matter.. loads different from WC3's)

    I have managed to make a bunker smaller. i changed the footing(i think that's the word it uses) to 1x1 (making a TD) and i scaled it down to .35 on all axis so it fits nicely into the 1x1 box. HOWEVER the building still has it's original 3x3 "shadow" on the ground. i put shadow around quotes because im not sure what it's called but it is definitely not the unit's shadow (you can see the unit's shadow inside the dark area to the bottom right - it's slightly more dark than the area i want to get rid of)

    i remembered back in WC3 all buildings had some kind of ground textures.. like humans had the brick tiles on the ground, undead had the dark charred earth looking stuff (not blight).. so no matter how small or big you made your buildings they still had this unchangeable #X# ground texture.. you could change it to another structure's ground texture or remove it completely(this is what i would prefer) but you could not scale it.
