    THANK YOU x 1,000,000

I really had no idea about the firing arc... my first time using one of these editors.

    Thank you for your ideas.

I am trying to give a barracks the ability to shoot a nuke. The barracks can target with a nuke but the only target it will actually fire on when selected is itself.

I am trying to figure out if there is a target range feature or something like that that I need to increase to allow it to fire on other units.

How do you give a structure a functional unit ability. I can copy the ability and the button but when I test it it does nothing. However if I add the same ability to another unit then there is no problem.

What do I need to change in the ability and/or structure code to make this work?

    thanks

I am trying to do something similar but I can only calldown a nuke onto the unit that fired it. I can target other units but nothing happens when I select it (unless its the unit itself). How did you deal with targeting and did you have this problem?

posted a message on Targeting Nukes?

I have created a structure with the ghost academy ability to prep a nuke and the ghost's ability to have the nuke launched. I got the targeting symbol on the ground but I couldn't actually select any locations or units to be hit. So I changed the targets to unit/point. Now the only thing I can target is the structure that launches the nuke (not a very good outcome).

If anyone has worked with this and knows how to arrange the targeting for the various stages of a nuke shot (or has some ideas) I would really appreciate it.
