Burqa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BurqaA burqa is an enveloping outer garment worn by women in some Islamic traditions to cover their bodies when in public

hi·jab/hiˈjäb/ Noun: A head covering worn in public by some Muslim women. The religious code that governs the wearing of such clothing.

So, Hijab is seemingly exclusively for the head - Burqa is in regards to the rest of the body. Not saying you don't know that of course, I'm just clarifying for the person who responded to you. On a side note, you'd be doing yourself a favour if you stopped with the sarcastic and demeaning responses. Manners costs nothing.

I lived in Dubai for years. It's alright.

So you quote the bible when you argue against it?.....

If you said so to my face Id make you eat dirt. Just saying.

Keep acting tough behind your computer screen if it makes you feel manly. It's funny.

I quote the bible when "Christians" are being entertainingly ironic. Like now.

noo thats me, Because no matter how you look at it, Atheism is completely idiotic and any intellectual would see that instantly.

    You have 2 possibilities.

    1. There is a god

    2. There isnt

Now lets Compare, if there is a god(and there is), then You go to hell for not believing and damn your eternal soul, and the only reason you dont accept him is because you are too scared.

If their isnt... Then No loss for me I just talked to myself before meals not a big deal.

So either You can Burn in hell, or Have the Occasional Duty, which is almost always completely small and irrelevant anyways... and protect your soul from hell... Also if I am right:

There is a Purpose to Life

Your loved ones really do live on.

You are free from all human urges once you enter heaven

Bad people get whats coming to them(ie. Hitler, Napoleon, Stalin, mussolini, Sadam Hussein).

    Good is rewarded.

    If I am wrong:

No purpose to life, everyone might as well commit suicide.

When you die you are just food for bugs.

Your Dead loved ones are dead and no longer love you.

People who do wrong get ahead, while people who do good get thrown away.

I mean if you were actually even in the least bit intelligent you would see the obvious better choice.

    You missed an option.

    3) Someone else's god is the right god.

because if you imposed that kinda shit on me.... i have the balls to pick up a fire arm and use it.

how does it effect natural selection? Homosexuality doesn't lead to breeding...

And I think its funny how you call me stupid because I disagree with your point of view...... kinda sad imo.

I'd be glad to settle this with a gentlemanly duel at 30 paces.... but alas that's not legal either......

how dare the government not recognize our right to settle disagreements with a simple duel

    @Eiviyn: Go

my reply is...... im against it and religion has nothing to do with my belief.

what good does it provide society that the government recognize it?

If i was gay.... and I wanted to get married...... and I lived somewhere why they didn't recognize it..... I would still get married........

so really there's nothing stopping you. Its not actually illegal.... it just isnt recognized.....

    and to further the trolling.....

I also believe that godlessness and homosexuality being so readily accepted by society has its own negative aspects.... not completely but enough to the point where I really don't care which way things go in the long run.

I just think your a bunch of loons for being all "ANTI-RELIGION".... get a hobby!!!

    should really lock this thread

You realize even if there were no religions .... people would still have anti gay opinions right.....

I'm a bigot because I don't think gay couples should get Marriage privileges from the government?

Gay people can get married any time they want anywhere. In some countries they'll hang ya. But here in the good old usa, we just ignor you.

Marriage isnt a right..... its a benefit to help married couples raise a proper family....

I have no problem with gay people. Nor do I have any problems with non gay people.

I just dont think their "marriages" should be treated the same.

    Thats called living in reality.

Other wise they wouldn't call it gay-marriage. They'd call it marriage.

And really if you think im a bigot for that belief.... That makes you a bigot......

And I really dont mind being called a bigot.... but i perfer to be an ass hole.

if so many people were that upset about it then they should pick up arms and fight the good fight....

LMAO bunch of homos picking up guns to fight for something.... I wonder if they'd were rainbow uniforms....

but I digress ......Lock this pointless thread......

So these intolerant liberals can go piss and moan else where.

I don't think stupid people should be allowed to marry and have children. You're basically fucking up natural selection. Why can't I impose my "religious" beliefs on you to stop you from getting married?

I use this argument against Christian anti-gay idiots.

"Would you tolerate someone demanding you wear a burqa? No. Then why should a non-Christian care about your beliefs about marriage?"

I've yet to see anyone form a coherent reply.

To be totally honest, I think this thread should be closed by now.

Just don't read the thread if you don't like it. I for one, enjoy looking into a creationist's mind.

What entertains me most is EW's belief that other religions are nonsense. It entertains me because you see this in every religion.

Quite right you are. Which the bible predicted would happen. Ah the irony. Oh...sorry, never-mind me, I couldn`t help myself responding to this.

The bible also asserts that the Earth is held up on immovable pillars, has 4 corners, mentions unicorns 8 times and points out that God can't defeat iron chariots.

Really, anything this book "predicts" is raw coincidence. I'd also like to see what passage you're using to make that claim, because I am 100% sure it will be some insanely vague sentence.

Oddly, you can still run SC2 offline and play any map you've downloaded at your leisure via the offline arcade.

Rather makes me convinced that this is a bug.

A very, very irritating bug though.

Don't seem to be having this problem on US bnet, I'm logged off at the moment and I'm able to test maps.

Try disconnecting your internet and restarting your PC with no active connection.

It works fine for me if I've recently had a connection and don't close SC2, for about 15 minutes.

Tuesday's patch introduced a rather irritating feature.

You can no longer run SC2 maps in the editor without an internet connection.

This makes mapping without an active connection nigh impossible.

    http://i.imgur.com/cR2q0.png

As someone who goes extended periods without internet access, mapping has filled that void in my time nicely.

Why was this done? What purpose does it serve? Is this a bug? Can I "unpatch" my game?

One of the big problems of the age concerns 'Global Warming', and whether it is 'man-made' or 'natural'
    and then
Here we try to explain the principles of man-made global warming in a simple way. Our purpose is to try to understand the story which the climatologists are telling us through their rather complicated general circulation models

    http://climate.nasa.gov/evidence/

I know evidence hurts a creationist like water on a witch, but it sounds like you're interested in the subject.

Here's NASA's report. At the bottom are real science papers that you can view at your leisure.

Decide for yourself. Don't let some religious fool try to teach you about science. You wouldn't ask a muslim to teach you about judaeism, so don't ask a preacher or politician to teach you about science.

    Quote from EternalWraith: Go

I dont see how this relates to most scientists(and growing) believing that global warming theory is incorrect, with its cataclysmic outcomes and all that. Climate `changes` and fluctuates in cycles, yes, but the theory(whether people want to believe it as man-made or natural) is broken. Thats also 2010 data by the way.

    http://www.ucsusa.org/global_warming/science_and_impacts/science/

Here is a statement by the people who's job it is to study this.

"There is no longer any doubt in the expert scientific community that the Earth is warming—and it’s now clear that human activity has a significant part in it."

    I bet you're a republican. Or a troll. Or a republican troll.

    I'll make a better reply later, but in regards to global warming;

Earth's temperature is rising. It's really difficult to ignore that. It's really irrefutable. Temperature rises aren't really something the "big guns" can fake. You can test it yourself with a thermometer over the past few decades.

The real question is "Is it due to human activity?".

    Now, you're a creationist. You're familiar with pascal's wager.

Tell me, ignoring all evidence and focusing purely on common sense, is it safer to proceed as if it IS DUE to human activity, or IGNORE IT?
