While we're at it: you don't use the standard material but the starcraft II material and apply starcraft II layers there.
It would be really great if you add some more information on:
- what software did you use to create the custom animations
- the file you've created (attached .m3 or scene file preferably)

I think that If you put another object, slightly smaller or slightly bigger than the displace one (I'd go with slightly smaller) with opacity and green color in the diffuse layer it'd be a green glass :) I think the slightly smaller would do better since it would refract it also.
As for the reversing the normal vectors: just flip the normals of the model before you bake the normal map. I don't think it would work as a mirror though.
I suspect that the displace is some kind of screen space shader.
Funny, on a still image it looks more like a mirror/chrome rather than a glass. Maybe add some sort of double-sided object on top of that cube with high opacity but at the same time with high spec value.

I just set it as the range helper was showing. Note that when you increase the decay start this hemisphere moves away from the light with the light direction.
You have to set the decay start a bit further that it is right now. I just exported the m3 from the scene you've provided and it's working (after extending the decay start of course ;) )
See? Told you :) There has got to be a vent, otherwise it will spill out to other parts of the forums OR (which is more fun for me at least ;) ) the banhammer will fall more often.
I think that there should be this vent for debates other then mapping related. That's just healthy. If someone wants to debate over religion then why not? It's their time lost, not mine.
What I've seen in the religion thread it looks like both sides are just throwing arguments against the wall. Nothing more. The wall stays the same ;)
Just like Tainted said: remove that from the main page notifications and it's ok.

So the alpha channel should be the specular power and the RGB portion should be the specular color.

Actually you could try with the version you have :) You can set the "Enable IK" flag using new M3 - Bones tools utility.
