This isn't really a spreadsheet, but the most similar thing would be to make a trigger action or something using a parameter for each column. Then run the action each time for each row. You can then have other triggers retrieve data from this based off a parameter (for example, an ID parameter).
Blizzard said they would release it (it was named StarTools) with the launch of the game.
Clearly that isn't the case. My assumption is that they will do this with the marketplace instead, since it's more appropriate. I'm sure they don't want to promote custom assets when there's a 10.5 MB limit to maps.
If you're just reskinning models, the easiest way is to extract the textures of the model and edit them, then import them back with the same name/directory.
If it ever becomes like Uther Party, which I'm sure it will eventually as its essentially the same, there will be a much larger variety of minigames and it probably won't get sickening so quickly.
Being original would make it better than Uther Party, so I don't suggest that the same minigames get remade although there are a few that I enjoyed like the mannoroth typing game. If I really want to play it I can always open up WC3, and I hate seeing people make things over and over from WC3.
Still, I think that the game will improve over time so long as it's worked on.
I don't see how Blizzard can complain about that when their other game features the devil, it's even named Devil (Diablo). And last time I checked, that very same devil is even in the SC2 game on a map.
Probably more to do with Jesus. Diablo isn't really Satan from the Bible anyway.
Regardless, they have already shown rules for publishing maps, and religious figures are definitely there. Obviously showing a picture of Jesus arm-wresting Satan is questionable.
I highly doubt this does anything with Activision (same with Real ID on forums, premium maps, etc). If you are going to compare to WarCraft III, the way Battle.net worked and how uploading maps in general worked made it difficult or impossible to enforce rules on maps.

This is what I am doing for NPCs in my map.

I believe the Previewer shows the directories of all the textures used on a model.

I think the best way to do this is by editing the texture to be completely alpha'd out, rather than editing the .m3 for that reason.

Make a trigger and add a behavior to the unit. I'm not sure about the Scientist, but for Civilians it is Civilian - Run. I'm sure it's very similar.

I think that's Mira Han, actually.

Does the model exporter for the game export UV maps? That is what determines the coordinates for texture maps on the model.
If you want to do this manually, it's going to take a long time, and especially if you're going to do 300.

Aw, I just did it too, I was just making it look fancier.
I even used a Spectre! I feel very unoriginal.
I did it through triggers though, and I made it so it disables when cloaked.
