1. You can apply the behavior similair to how the marauder applies its slowing effect, just change the target to Caster.
2. You can use a damage response behavior, be sure to set the chance to 1 and also set it to Defender, then set the effect to the apply behavior effect, to be sure that it works, set the target of the apply behavior effect to Caster.
Another thing that might make it bug is that you haven't set the stacks of the buff behavior to 5.
I have a problem with an effect - instant ability. When it finds it's target it is supposed to do a search area effect on the unit that it targetted. The search area effect filters so that it only searches for units owned by the player, (Search Filters - Player). The problem is that the effect is launched by the caster unit instead of the targetted unit. So the caster searches for units owned by it instead of units owned by the targetted unit. Does anyone have a clue? I have tried mostly everything but if you know a solution please tell me.
Just like in WoL, there are some models that dwell deep within the editor, waiting to be uncovered. I found one that looks bad ass, the Primalisk. A dead primalisk appeared in the campaign, but there is a unit model in the editor as well.

Hey, I just wanted to share some of the abilities that I have made. All of the abilities are not finished but I think you will find it interesting anyways.
In reality protoss would be the strongest, their Scouts have Dual photon blasters and Antimatter missiles. It's very ironic that they have both the weakest and the strongest weapons. If antimatter collides with matter an explosion will occur with 100% energy conversion, it's 100 times stronger than a hydrogen bomb I think. There is no stronger weapon known to man. A photon blaster is basically a flashlight.

I tried the behavior path, but it didn't work for some reason. I know that it is supposed to cut off the effect tree but it didn't do it, weird.

I'm not that great at using beams and I know it would be hard to bend them.
What I made is basically a turret that you can chose where to aim with, you can have several "beams" firing at once if you duplicate the ability.
I updated the map, it works and looks a bit better now, feel free to use it if you want.

A persistent effect that runs at the marker (where the missiles are homing)
You can also move the marker, but maybe you already found that out.
