The teal isn't really something I can do anything about (other than changing the rock texture) because that seems to happen to Haven rocks, regardless of what I do with the lighting.
That looks quite good, though the rocks on the cliffs look a bit awkward. If you're going to be covering cliffs with rocks, I'd recommend that you cover the ENTIRE cliff with rocks. I know, it's a pain, but it looks much better in the end.
I'd agree with you on the vines. I put the bottom ones closer to the rock and it certainly looks better. The top vines have now been removed. They just didn't work.
Well, you MIGHT be able to do this by creating the terrain for inside the portal, taking a screenshot, importing that into the editor and using it as a texture for some cube model which gets placed inside the portal...

I'm still working on getting the color right. It's a bit tricky, getting it perfect.
How's it now?

I'd say that those cliffs do look a bit more... complete than the earlier ones.

Well, earlier today, I touched up on some areas of my map. Here are the screenshots.

I don't think that's what he did though...

It'd take more than that. I'm just wondering how he got the fog not to appear inside the portal...

Given your limited texture pallet, I would say that that's an excellent volcano.
