Guys, he's not kidding. The movement system is a bit awkward, but there is literally NO lag. If there is lag, then it is too small to be noticed at all.
There are probably hundreds of thousands of custom models these days. In fact, there's a map you can download called the "Ultimate Terraining Map" or something like that, which comes with almost a thousand useful custom doodads.
Those are some pretty damn awesome terrains you've got there. Just a question, though: did you download that thing which added bloom to WC3 for that last screenshot? If not, then how did you get that effect with the star?
I never said it wasn't hard, I just said that the SC2 editor was much more powerful than the WC3 one. Also, there was a cliff level restriction in WC3; I think it was around 10.
I knew that already and it is a key element to the gameplay in my RPG. Since I'll probably never release it and I can run it on extreme graphics, I really don't care :P
I never said it was easy to do any of that, but the things I said should be possible. If you can make actors which deform the terrain and randomly generate those in a clever way, it should work.
I'm not sure, but I seem to recall that there is a way. I'd suggest looking around the forums. At least one other person has asked that and they might have gotten an answer.
What do you mean by that? If you want the models to be tinted, you can do that with the Data Editor. Go to the actor whose color you wish to choose and add the event "UnitBirth [Insert Unit Name]" and term "SetTintColor [Insert Desired Tint Color]."

We know it's easy, but that doesn't mean it isn't better made than most maps on B.net.

Lol that's SOOOO much better than Bliz's shooter thing.

Don't you kill mobs and pigs and cows and chickens? And blow up other peoples' houses?

There is a disappointing lack of screenshots. I'd recommend that you upload the screenshots.

Didn't terraining used to be on Tuesday?

You can randomly generate doodads, and even terrain height with a bit of intuition. You basically just can't randomly change terrain textures.
