In game the terrain looks very detailed and at the same time there is no doodads spam.
It's not that detailed. Everything just feels so... empty. I think you can use more doodads lol. It's an isometric game, so you don't really need to worry too much about how many doodads you have.
I'm not saying it's bad, just that it's not particularly special.
Well, I'm nearly certain that I'll be hitting the 16k actor limit :(
Though strictly speaking if I keep this up I will actually hit around 64k actors because the game will be split into four maps for several reason lol. I guess I'll need to fill up more doodadless mountains lol. They seem to be an excellent way to use up space without just having it be empty.
On first impressions, I'd say that the controls need some work. I'd suggest going with a system where you move to where you click, perhaps a custom system. Also, I had no idea what to do or where to go lol. I never succeeding in getting inside :(
