Hi its me yet again, theres loads of times when i am making a trigger that i wish to put in the value "any unit" or "all players" for example "set upgrade level to 1 for "all players" but i cant do that plz help
Yea like Dustin372 said, you need to loop through the players by using a 'Pick Each Player in Player Group'.
Then you would want to use the given action inside the actions list for the pick each and you would use the 'Picked Player' Function instead of a specific player number.
This is the copied text for an example using the 'Set Upgrade level for Player'...
Player Group - Pick each player in (All players) and do (Actions)
Actions
Tech Tree - Set Protoss Ground Armor Level 1 upgrade level to 1 for player (Picked player)
It depends on how you want to use the "any unit" or "any player" concept. What you are describing seems to be "all units" or "all players" which is a little different.
When you are creating events for triggers, you are allowed to create them generally for "any unit" just by putting in null for that value. If you mean actions for the triggers, then yes, you would have to use the method described by DaveSilver above.

@charlie216: Go
Those functions dont support unit groups or player groups.
You'll have to loop through each player and run the function.
