While having a hot shower (delicious way to wake up) this mroing, I came up with a topic that would be interesting for the new WTE. "Morituri te saluant", or "Those who are about to die salute you", is the greeting gladiators in ancient rome gave to their emperor before engaging in fights to the death. Our theme for this week is going to be "The Arena", and I want you to make an area where two (or more) sides get ready to duke it out 'till the death. This can come on small level, as in a small pit where Zerglings are forced to fight eachother, or on a larger scale, as in an entire melee map. You decide where you want to take this.
Still learning but this is my take on a natural looking area for fighting to happen.......the animated murlocs look so good animated going crazy watching on the cliffs:) Now gotta learn how to put a sky in.........
my first pic for my arena, the idea is that each team must attempt to control all 6 of the landing lights by activating switches behind each obstacle.
will continue to update pics as it comes together.
stadium has been built, now need pro data editor skills to add sitting colonists.. i took a look but to no avail.
crap that didnt work lol i took a pic with the editor saved the view but that didnt work =( now im just confused i used the "attach" thing but i think i used the wrong method of capturing the picture how everyone else capture theirs?
Those who are about to die salute you!

@Malpheus: Go Nice so far, but you should totally add a crowd of cheering and screaming people around them, egging them on to fight :D

After you make your post you can edit it and upload files, I'm not sure if it works while you are making the post. It never did for me.
It's called Attach.
Tried to do something on a smaller scale.
