Guys, but why u making video tutorial? It sucks! With normal tutorial i can find smthing with ctl+f, scroll, find what that I want very fast. Video sucks!
Im trying to create an evolves map with special units you can buy with zerglings that are created when you get so many kills. I cant seem to figure out how to make it so when I put 3 zerglings on my purchasing beacon that the zerglings die. I can get one to die but not all of them. I've been stuck on this for days please help!!!
I will really like how to do that fancy custom ui hero chooser, like when u click a picture of a hero, u chose that hero and the hero spawn somewhere. Please tell me how do this!!!
can someone make/direct me to a tutorial for adding visual effects for when a unit aquires a behavior (prefer the data editor rather than triggers) im trying to do differnt things like:
Sentry guardian shield around a single unit when they aquire a certain buff.
fire "doodad" on a unit when it has a certain debuff
Time warp visual when a unit has it's spell damage increased by a buff.
Those are just some examples of what im trying to achieve. thanks guys have a great day an happy mapping

I would like a tutorial explaining how to allow a Hero unit to choose it's attributes when it levels up.
Right now I have the 3 behaviours Strength, Agility and Psionics. When a hero levels up, I want him to be able to put 3 to 5 points into these Attributes.

Ive searched and haven't been able to find a tutorial for adding more attributes such as Stamina, Wisdom, and Luck to the existing Strength, Agility, Intelligence. Ive seen others do it so I know its possible, I just cant figure it out for myself.
i made some weapons as items and you can equip them. now when a thor picks it up and uses it (a flamethrower) he shoots out of his mouth.. i dont want a godzilla, i want him to use his arms :(
I would like a tutorial explaing what the AI flags actually govern. Some are self explanatory, like aquire/flee, but others are a bit more confusing. A short guide/tutorial on this would be much apprieciated. I know most folk, just duplicate units, but I'm making as much from scratch as I can, which is why I want to know this.
Where the heck is the tutorial, guides, and templates for galaxy code? Did it get buried under something?

I'd rather not start on trigger editing variables, and rather get into programming since it'll give me some practice from my java classes.
1) Basic template on how to start programming a galaxy script:
Should tell you what to do before you start programming (preparing your text file with important statements/functions so it may load)
Should tell you the order of using variables, if statements, and loops
That's it, the only 2 things I want to know about...
But knowing the community, you'll toss a heap of info at me without organizing them first.

It's either that people here are keeping quiet about galaxy code, or plainly doesn't know how to write up a non-complex tutorial or even know how to teach others. To do so requires good perception anyhow, to think of the other person's perspective and ask yourself questions. I would write tutorials myself if I knew what I was trying to write about (because I'm basically blank here, galaxy code's format is??!?, I can put together java formats and it'll give me syntax errors, so I can't proceed until I have enough info on the "general" format of it).
Besides, many requests seems to be so specific that not many people would learn from it, and it'll too vague in a way. Like the guy above me, is he asking for a trigger self destruct that gives damage to units around it in a region? Or is it an ability set kind of self-destruct from a baneling? Or is it a "remove unit" or a "kill unit
trigger that removes it?
is it possible to get a basic random hero tutorial? in my map i sell heroes from shops, Can anyone help me? . i arranged the heros in an array, but after that i have no idea what to do

How can you change a units "PITCH" After The Units Created?

The function takes the a unit and the desired pitch and yaw. It then changes the pitch and yaw of the unit.

Exactly that, but add the "creating an ability" to it. If you can make a tutorial about the same thing but with weapons, It'd be osm 2!

Looking for a tutorial on how to create a nice creepy fog or stages/rounds. Like Round 1 after all units are dead round 2.

Make a bunch of simple trigger, view script, then you get the hello world basic program. Same thing when you define custom action/condition...
