Almost finished my TD mod. It's actually a hybrid between TD and Tug of War with action and RPG elements.
Game mode -> team vs team, 3v3.
Builder as usual can build towers, but he can also fight enemy builders or attack creeps, use abilities stun or destroy enemy towers, buff friendly towers, heal, jump and other stuff, so builder is a pretty active unit. It can pick up powerups which come from killed units, and they grant him with levelable abilities.
The turrets kill creeps (and enemy builders if they are stupid) and also send units to enemy. There are 5 kinds of sends, each has 3 tiers of units. Towers also has a specialization vs on of the sent types, so it's wise to counter waht enemy send and send the kinds enemy less defended against.
There are also buff towers. They can affect other towers and creeps (enemy or allied). They do usual stuff like up enemy creeps armor, or increase rate of fire of the allied towers.
There are also pure send buildings which send higher tiers units than the attacking towers do.
And also there are income buildings of 5 types: higher income per wave, interest of the sum player owns, higher chance to get a reward for killing a creep, income for the whole team, and also penalty for enemy team.
Tower models made by me, some creep models are from wow.
Waves are random. It's still the same creatures, and wave's sum hp isn't differ too much. But it can be a throng of tiny creeps - or a couple of huge fat monsters. They can be tough and move slow, or be light and fast. THey can be spammed as a few big dense groups, or as a friable crowd. Waves' spamming time is also differs. So, players must keep balance between single target tower and aoe ones.
