Well, I know in the 2nd video I posted, it seems a lot darker than what it actually is (because of the low quality). Are you guys by any chance judging from that, or by the screenshots?
Yes I judged by screenshots. It's too dark for me. I'd like it to at least able to see more than just lights. Either add lots of lights in areas that need it, or make it a little less dark. I can't see me playing this game at this point, I would simply quit because I fell in a ditch and couldn't get out.
What about those new screenshots Nebuli just posted above? Is that better?
EDIT: On a side note, you cannot right-click detect over a dialog button, which totally screws my drag and drop system. I'm going to have to resort to Left Click+Control to drag and drop.
There is a workaround I can think of. That being having a mouse click (right button) event and it would detect the dialog item which you are hovering over, which I assume you will add support for in 1.4.
Also, I'm going with a slightly different theme for the second zone. It would use a few more Char doodads (mostly the plant ones,) red lights, and lava. Here's a screenshot of vaguely how it looks.
