This game was made by a BHG, and was a kinda Rise of Nations 2. Rise of Nations was an RTS game which consume all the best parts of a lots of RTS games. It took alot from civilization, from age of empires, from starcraft and warcraft, from command and conquer and from other rts and non-rts games. So Rise of Nations was a masterpiece of rts. People still play it on the server. Rise of Legends was even better, it included some RPG elements.
The game is complicated, it has alot of stuff inside, lots of correlations between its components, and provides unbelievable amount of strategies and tactics.
Resources: there are 2 kinds of resources - timonium and wealth. Income system is unique for Rise of Nations series. There is an income per minute depending on the amount of workers working on mines. Income can't be higher then the income cap. And player need to increase the income cap to let the income be higher. Income depends on the amount of workers working on mines and some other factors like nation upgrades or heroes or captured buildings.
Buildings. There are alot of neutral buildings on the map, they are guarded, and players can either conquer or buy those buldings with the guards. There alot of different neutral buildings. It's the whole 4th neutral race. (There are 3 main races: alin, vinci and cuotl). Also, there are...
Wait. What do I do. if your interested in the original Rise of Legends, you can read about it on wikipedia. Here
I'll better review the mod itself.
Team mods: depending on the amount of players, odd number of players will cause ffa, even number of players will cause team vs team.
Development stage: 45%, alpha version is playable.
There are 90% of game mechanics, 90% of Vinci race, and 90% of Neutral race ready. So, alot of stuff to do, but it's fun to play yet.
There is a video of gameplay. It was played vs noob, so it was a simple game.
Created the borders system. So, now players can only build on friendly territory, have some heal for units on friendly territory (depending on the territory related upgrades), and have some attrition damage on enemy territory (depending on upgrades too).
Ok, I'll ask you if I finish it before blizzard implement cross region playing.
And for sure I'll finish it. I consider RoL as the best RTS ever. This game deserves a second chance. Its creators ain't exist anymore as a game studio, and its online servers are dead, and this would be sad if there wouldn't be someone like me :)

My favourite part was how you zoomed in on seemingly random corners of the screen.
It looks like a neat game but i couldn't stand the Russian music. Imma look for it on battle net

Also, you should probably have someone publish it on NA....and other regions...for now.

Yeah, when it will be finished, which may take a few month to happen.

Added a singleplayer campaign to get familar with the game. If anyone wants to try - jsut start alone in the lobby.
Ok, think the game left alpha stage and joined beta.
There is another gameplay video, including new features:
