No, the tech tree system is not bugged. In fact for some upgrades, it must a condition before activate a new technology. It's one of possibility of this system.
For the model, no marine shoulders here but the important thing is that this other system allows add differents extensions on your robot. Each extension corresponds to a particular capacity or something else.
By example for the down of robot, we can add this or this (obviously, there are others):
BOOST and JUMP
There will be a lot of differents adds and I will create a new video to present this extension system.
Pretty cool, I love when authors take the time to visually distinguish upgrades - but depending on the final scale of the WarRobot you may want to consider exaggerating the size of the boosters and exhaust, they will be pretty hard to notice unless your game camera is going to be way zoomed in.
Would you consider releasing the "mini Goliath" model for others to use? Base model, not including your unique upgraded bits of course.
Edit: is it going to be either/or - or will the visual upgrades continue to be added, can you have multiple at one time?
Hello everyone ! I do not know if you remember me but I am the creator of .
Currently I am developing a tool to create technological trees easily, but it is not yet fully completed:

Yes why not, but not before the release of Warobot.
Currently the robot has 7 possible sites for extensions:
We can add one single extension for each site. One technological tree unlock upgrades for one existing extension.
For resume: one site = one extension = one technological tree
This system allow a very powerful personnalisation of robots. Each player will have a completly different robot.
btw is this like battletanks/catalyst/battleships cause it kinda looks like it could be something like that.
Anyway looks very nice so far.
Not really. In fact there is no equivalent but I will explain the gameplay later.
I had a problem so I uploaded the video again.
That new video is really cool, aswell as the logo. This can indeed turn out to be good.
Currently I work on an original camera/move system without multiplayer lag.
This looks pretty great so far :)
