The VS prompt during the intro of a map has been removed, this cuts down the intro waiting time by 50%
You can now zoom in and out to furthur or closer distances
Balance
Increased the arc of effect radius for all melee cleave attacks
Graphic Changes
Lamia's Void Barrier and Onyx's Molten Barrier will now have a more obvious shield visual
Reduced the hitscan collision radius against line of sight blocking objects. This will make hitscan impacts against such objects more accurate.
Hit Detection Changes
All hit-scan based effects will now have a very obvious visual attached to them showing where the hit*scan is firing. Hitscan "lines" will no longer be invisible to the player. This should greatly improve the play experience.
A brief "click" noise is now audible whenever your hero deals damage, to improve hit detection.
When you take damage, the edges of the screen now flash a subtle red color to alert you to being hit.
Increased the size of most models by about 15%, this should make clicking on heroes easier. As a result of this change, many adjustments were made to the maps. See map changes for more info.
The selection radius for all heroes has been increased to help furthur improve selection
UI Changes
New character select menu, featuring 6 pick modes the host of any lobby can select before gameplay:
"Blind Pick": All players pick a hero, once everyone has picked the enemy team's composition is revealed.
"Draft Pick": Teams take turns picking heroes, both teams can see the other team's picks.
"Blind Global Ban": Each team bans one hero, no one can pick those characters, then resumes as a normal Blind Pick.
"Blind Target Ban": Each team bans two heroes, which the opposite team cannot pick, then resumes as a normal Blind Pick.
"Draft Global Ban": Each team bans one hero, no one can pick those characters, then resumes as a normal Draft Pick.
"Draft Target Ban": Each team bans two heroes, which the opposite team cannot pick, then resumes as a normal Draft Pick.
A new game options menu is expandable by clicking the "Game Options" button located in the upper left corner of the screen. The available options include:
"Flash screen on hit": Enables/disables screen flashing when being hit.
"Play hit detection sound": Enables/disables the ping sound when you deal damage.
"Enable Tutorial": Enables/Disables basic tutorial tips during warmup mode.
"Play event tips": Enables/disables tutorial tips that react to game events
"Auto*ready at warmup": Automatically flags you as ready during the warm*up round.
Popup text will now appear displaying several different status effects when a unit is afflicted by those effects.
Popup text will now appear to alert ammo users that they are out of ammo
New Player Changes
The intro to all maps has been modified to allow a 90 second warm*up period where no heroes can die and will recover health rapidly if they take no damage within a 1.5 second period. Players can click "Ready" and the match will begin as soon as all players have readied up. This only appears in Unranked mode.
All heroes HP increased. The values of each hero's HP increase followed a cascading percentage raise per class. As a result, the baselines of HP for each class have increased.
You can now create a custom game of Smashcraft with no one on the opposing team in order to activate a practice mode. In this mode, you cannot die, have unlimited time to play, and can attack target dummies to practice your abilities.
If tutorials are enabled (enabled by default), the High Exemplar will appear and teach you the basics of Smashcraft.
More features will be added to this practice mode in the future that both new and veteran players will find useful!
Stats
PSR has been reset, but not deleted. Your old PSR ratings and stats will be saved for future viewing on your stats page during character selection as "Season 1" stats.
You now gain 3 seperate PSR ratings, for 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3. Only the rating of the current type of ranked match you are playing will display on the initial vs. panel bar during character select. In future updates, you will be able to see a player's individual ratings for each match type.
If a ranked match begins with uneven teams, the game will default to unranked mode for the match.
If a ranked match begins with a smaller team count (for both teams) than initially started, it will then proceed to set the ranking bracket to the correct match for the remainder of the game. (I.e.
if there are 2 players on each team, but a match started with 3 on each team, the game will default
to 2v2 ranked)
Players can now rematch even if other players leave. The rematch will begin once all active players in the game are ready. Each time a player leaves during the leaderboard screen, you must re*click the ready button.
Bugs
Fixed a bug causing blink effects to create its dust cloud effects incorrectly
Fixed a bug which would cause Revolver's Castling effect to occasionally do nothing on an ally who just used their evasion ability
Fixed a bug in which Revolver couldn't castle Alseir if he was ice blocked
Fatal damage transferred by Forgebond should now properly count the kill towards the attacker and not the hero guarded by Forgebond.
Fixed a bug which was causing Pyro's Ignition to do more damage to himself than the tooltips stated.
Fixed a misspelling of Sarina's name on her escape tooltip.
Heroes should no longer turn to face their current targets if time stopped during attacking
Forgebond should no longer redirect damage from friendly non*hero units such as zerglings or banelings.
Evasion should no longer lock up abilities following the dodge maneuver.
Manafusion should properly end Alseir's Frost Tomb effect.
Targets that are immune to external damage should no longer become afflicted by new debuffs while under these immunity effects (effects such as Lamia's Eternal Torment and Hawk's new Psionic Stasis).
Hero Specific Changes
Ace
New EX Ability [S] * Photon Grenade * Throws a grenade at the target point that has the combined effect of all 3 grenades. (Does slightly more damage than frag grenade).
New EX Ability [D] * Operation Beta * Ace launches himself backwards while dealing damage to enemies in the line of fire, additionally causing them to bleed over time.
Alseir
New EX Ability [S] * Arctic Blast * Causes enemies in the immediate area around Alseir to take damage and become frozen in a block of ice for 2 seconds (disabled, unbreakable). After the frost tomb wears off, enemies movement speed will slowly recover over 5 seconds.
New EX Ability [D] * Cryobastion * Shields Alseir for up to 300 damage. Enemies who attack him will become frostbitten and have their movement & attack speed drastically lowered for a brief time.
Aegis
New EX Ability [S] * Static Impulse * Expends one charge per second dealing damage in an area around Aegis. Enemies hit by the blast will be slowed.
New EX Ability [D] * Chronoflux * Creates a large time lapse bubble which slows time to enemies within the radius by 50%.
Dex
New EX Ability [S] * Summon S.A.B.R.E. * Summons a mechanic tiger which gives a small movement speed buff to nearby allies while in play. The tiger can attack enemies and has a brief stun effect on his melee attack, on a 5 second cooldown. The tiger can be killed, CC'd, etc.
New EX Ability [D] * Null Reactor * Shields all allies on the map instantly for up to 200 damage, additionally renderring them immune to stuns while the shield is active.
Ezzerat
Reduced the stun duration of Ezzerat's Detonation: Houkai to 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds relative to the hatred requirements.
Slightly increased the damage of Ezzerat's Detonation abilities at each level of hatred
Ezzerat's openers should now show the initial hatred increment properly
Ezzerat's detonation abilities will now detonate all hatred counters on enemies within 10 cells range upon activating the detonation.
Base HP increased by 200
New EX Ability [S] * Premeditation * Blinks to target point, increasing all enemies hatred counters by 3 around the impact point and slowing them for 5 seconds.
New EX Ability [D] * Shadow Pact * Becomes immune to all negative debuffs for 3 seconds and also increases Ezzerat's movement speed.

Lamia
Lamia's Dispersion immunity effect should now last 1 second like all other escapes.
New EX Ability [S] * Engulfing Darkness * Instantly curses enemies in the target area with an enhanced curse. The curse deals damage over time, and each tick of damage triggers the healing effect of Dark Curse.
New EX Ability [D] * Nightmare * Blinds all enemies on the map, causing them to have limited sight range and temporarily will not share vision with teammates.
Misery
New EX Ability [S] * Nydus Catalyst * Spawns a nydus worm at the target point, stunning and damaging enemies in the blast. The nydus worm blocks pathing and spawns up to 10 mutated swarmlings which have increased movement, attack speed, damage, and health from normal swarmlings before retreating back into the ground.
New EX Ability [D] * Fungal Grasp * Misery burrows underground, becoming untargettable by attacks and additionally rooting all nearby enemies. The root is inescapable and deals periodic damage over time for 3 seconds.
Onyx
Removed the backlash stun from Molten Barrier.
Onyx's shield burn damage was ticking much faster than intended, causing more damage over time than expected. This has been fixed.
Polymorph now restores HP on the afflicted target every 1s (down from 2s) and heals for 150 hp per tick (up from 125hp/tick)
New EX Ability [S] * Volcanic Eruption * Causes an eruption at the target point, throwing enemies backwards, dealing damage, and stunning them briefly. The fissure left behind by the explosion is not pathable.
New EX Ability [D] * Volcanic Infusion * Onyx takes 50% less damage for 5 seconds, additionally dealing periodic damage to nearby enemies.
Rush
New EX Ability [S] * Nethergrip * Stuns the first target in the line of fire for 3 seconds, pulling them to Rush and causing them to take 50% bonus damage for the duration of the stun. Rush is healed for 100% of the damage done by this ability.
New EX Ability [D] * Nether Infusion * Increases Rush's movement speed and causes his A & melee attacks to heal himself for 200% of the damage dealt by his attacks for 5 seconds.
Sarina
New EX Ability [S] * Medimist * Channels an AOE effect which deals damage to enemies and heals allies.
New EX Ability [D] * Cleanse * Instantly heals allies in the target area and removes all negative debuffs.
Stallion

New EX Ability [D] * Bullstomp * Instantly hurls all nearby enemies backwards a long distance, dealing damage and stunning them for 2 seconds.
Revolver
Increased the radius of Hades' Barrage slightly.
Hades' Barrage now also slows enemies within its radius.
Duration of fissures reduced to 6 seconds (from 7)
New EX Ability [S] * Hades' Gauntlet * Forms a fissure ring after a short delay around Revolver, stunning and damaging enemies in the immediate radius. The fissure ring cannot be pathed out of.
New EX Ability [D] * Meteor Swap * Swaps places with target ally, releasing them from stuns. The swap will additionally do damage and snare enemies at the swap point (where your ally was).
Omni
A team area of effect indicator has been added to Schwere Bombadierung
The visual effect of Schwere Bombadierung's blasts has been changed.
New EX Ability [S] * Orbital Strike * After a delay, calls down a rain of fire dealing heavy damage over 2 seconds to enemies in the impact radius. This ability has global range.

Zephyr
New EX Ability [S] * Valiant Leap * Leaps to the target point, dealing damage and stunning nearby enemies for 2 seconds.
New EX Ability [D] * Parrying Stance * While channeling, Zephyr gains 50% of the damage taken in health.

The starting points of each team have been spread out a bit.
Well I guess nobody wants to say anything because everyone knows that your ego is big enough already, but whatever. Pretty cool trailer, can't judge the content, but the trailer certainly made me want to give it a try.

srry that I complain a little but i've been playing the old version of Smashcraft a few times. There seems to be more and more people coming to play Smashcraft. But when I read the "Smashcraft" channel it seems that many players are asking if the new SmashCraft 2.0 is available. Since we are eager to play the new version I ask does Frunck(I think this is the guy who uploads on EU) still upload the new version today? I don't wanna complain to much but we r kinda waiting for it =3.
I'm pretty sure Frunck uploaded the latest version. Did you try loading it up again? Single player should give you access to teh practice/tutorial mode.
Increased the lifetime of Swarmlings in play to 8 seconds (up from 6)
Aegis
Aegis' abilities have been reworked to fit his time*bender theme more closely. Effects which previously snared now cause a time*slowing effect, and a new "haste" mechanic has been added to benefit allies. Haste speeds up time for the target, reducing cooldown time and increasing cast speeds, as well as attack rates.
Aegis' Distortion Field now slows time for enemies caught in the blast by 25%*50% depending on the charge level when used. Allies also now gain a 25% haste effect if they are in the blast radius for 3 seconds.
Reduced the damage of Distortion Field by 20%
Reduced the damage of Phase Prism lasers by 10%
Aegis' passive charge aura now grants 2% haste to allies per charge.
Chronolapse no longer freezes allies in time
Chronolapse duration reduced to 3 seconds (Down from 5)
[EX] Chronoflux now additionally grants allies 25% haste
[EX] Static Impulse now has a 25% time slowing effect and the movement speed reduction has been reduced to 25% (down from 50%)
Alseir
Reduced the shield amount of [EX] Cryobastion to 200 (down from 300)
Reduced the duration of the freezing effect on [EX] Arctic Blast to 1.5 seconds (down from 2)
The freeze effect of [EX] Arctic Blast is now considered a stun, and can be broken.
Stallion
Reduced the duration of Demoralize effects to 5 seconds (Down from 6)
Other
Target dummies can now be thrown
Warmup timer reduced to 60 seconds (down from 90)
Practice Mode
Added new practice UI when in practice mode
You can reset your gladiator's cooldowns by pressing the "Reset Cooldowns" button
You can fill your fury gauge by pressing the "Generate Fury" button
You can control your target dummy by pressing the "Control Dummy" button, and pressing it again to release control of it
A damage counter will pop up when damage is being done, showing how much damage was dealt to the target dummies. If no damage is done in a certain time window, the damage counter will disappear again.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug causing Lamia's Eternal Torment to not nullify external damage properly
Fixed a bug causing Lamia's Shadow Tether to persist on an invincible target
Roots now disable Zephyr's Valiant Leap and Ezzerat's Premeditation properly
Gladiators' normal S and D abilities can no longer be used while EX Burst is active. This means you can no longer accidentally use your normal ability if you press EX and the followup ability too quickly.
Fixed a bug causing Omni's Nitro Booster fires to persist beyond the warm*up round
Fixed a bug that was causing Shattering Shell's explosion component to fire at the position of the unit when it was stunned, not the actual unit's position.
I'm pretty sure Frunck uploaded the latest version. Did you try loading it up again? Single player should give you access to teh practice/tutorial mode.
Worked fine this time. The tutorial was LOL! May I ask who did the voice over for that Mentor?
I played a 2v2 as well, was a bit frustating as we got owned badly. They used an Infestor/Queen combo of some sort, holding me down and surrounding with lings.
Guess I need to learn the dodge, defend and break stun mechanics more, but I died so fast, literally half my health in a second.
Misery is a dangerous one to go up against. He's generally easy to avoid taking damage from, so you have to be REALLY mindful of getting ling surrounded->root combo'd into chain geysers, thats when he starts to stack up the damage very quickly. Whatever you do against a Misery, make sure you have your escape ready in case you get rooted. Lings are easy to dispatch, but the root is what will destroy you. Just be aware that it has a longer cast time so you should have enough time to juke it unless he aims it well.
I did the voice-overs for the tutorial. Lamia also makes you take 20% more damage with her curse ability, so it can be particularly painful. It also depends who you picked, which would determine your approach to that comp. The newest version adds more features to Practice mode, too, so if you want to mess around with stuff in there I'll have the latest version up on EU once my host is around.
I assume you had some form of voice tweaking thing to make you sound Protoss. Whatever you did it's very impressive :)
Yeah I figured they had some combo going as I was taking insane damage. For the record I was Tychus, the chaingun, still not familiar with all the names. I basically just tried to keep stunning and shooting.
It's very difficult for him to kill lings thou if I got surrounded? I guess having the dodge and teleport to ally ready is something I'd need to practice.
Ah, Revolver has one weakness against Misery and that's that his escape does not remove roots. That is because his stoneskin gives him a pretty hefty defense boost, and combined with guarding you can absorb a lot of the impact, as well as castle your way out of danger using a nearby teammate (so long as they don't mind taking a few hits for you in the geyser spam). To kill lings just chaingun them down.
WHATEVER YOU DO don't get caught with less than 50% ammo against misery, always keep your ammo high and ready for ling surrounds if you get stuck in one. The lings drop like flies with a quick chaingun sweep, so if you are caught with low ammo, you can potentially be in big trouble if he gets his root/surround combo going.

Great update, much fun. Those who haven't tried it yet definitely should, the new version is much more new user friendly.
