My new map that is base on a old idea i had since SC1. The idea is simple, a regular melee map but all the units will switch owners after a random amount of time. a the start it will be between 1-7,5 min and after that it will be between 0,5-10 min. The only thing one will keep is ones minerals and gas. It made for 2v2 for FFA, and it can't really be played with computers since the AI isn't smart enought for this .I've also added 2 "cheats" that can only be used once.
"How much is the time" - i will tell you the time remaining until next swithc
"I ain't got time for this shit" - you'll set the timer to 0,5min
i would love to hear your thoughts about this maps and ideas you have.

Sounds like a clever and good idea, although all I can see happening is you only gather stuff the entire start before the switch, leaving your opponent with less minerals to gather, no army and such and such.
thanks, i know and i'm thinking of making the start at least 5-10 min before the switch so that players will have time to rush you. and remember all the players can do that tatic in the bening, just gather mineral and skip making an army, it will be part of the tatics
Will workers and structures also switch? If so, then I foresee long, drawn-out games that only end when a player leaves in annoyance. If not, then the switched units will proceed to demolish the base that produced them (especially Terrans using defensive Siege Tanks). Either way, I don't see this being much fun.
workers and structures will also switch and yeah sometimes i think the game can turn long and out-drawn. But i don't think that all games will bee like that

Maybe if you get bonuses for kills... That way nobody will want to turtle up OR avoid making any units - as an early rush can and would be deadly.
neat concept. not something id play a lot, but something id play a couple times for sure.
What if you make it randomly switch either resources or buildings and units?
