The one in that pack is bugged. Simply export a new one from the WMV and it should work. Also, Im wondering what type of map you're making (the one in the screenshot). Looks like tiles of some sort.

That's the "view pathing" option, where ground units can't walk it's red, and it's also offtopic :) And is that really just a pack bug? because all models using the dreadlord/inferno/voidwalker/elemental skeletons are bugged for me when exported.

Also no luck when I reimported it.
I'm currently trying to recreate vampirism 7.8 however I want decent model not some random SC2 models, I love nostalgia and it may seem odd but I'm committed to completely remaking it with shiney graphics.
I really need a fair few models from WC3 I'm half tempted to try and make them myself however I need to learn how to use 3DS Max.
So if anyone has a working of the following I'd be very happy if you could send them my way:

could you tell me whats the animation's name when a unit use an ability? looks like in warcraft 3 was "spell" Because i imported some model as:bloodprince,bloodqueen, batrider, griff rider, wyrven rider, ancient of war/lore, spirit wolf. Did you export them yourself? Because when I export the models I go into Export Options>Animations or whatever its called and make sure all animations have the right name, even add some if needed. And I always change "SpellCastOmni" or "SpellCastDirective" to just "Spell", so that they all have a spell animation. (and of course check the box to make sure it's included, also keep in mind if changing animation names, you have to change all "AttackUnarmed" or "Attack1H" etc to "Attack")
Alternatively, you could view your model in the editors previewer and see what animations it has.

Hi guys its me agian with a big request for Zarakk i need these models these are the models or see list below! The only thing i ask is for No Animations to be deleted if this is not possible then ill deal with just the models :) loads of models

Think you've got this thread all wrong, mate. I don't convert models and textures already existing. I go into the WoW Model Viewer, pick a model and press an export button.
It's an easy thing to do, but I do it for those people who don't have WoW and doesn't want to download 16Gb just to get one model.
I have no experience in modelling/texturing or any of that, I just know how to press buttons.
Can we get more buildings? Also, can we get some that look similar to the WC3 structures or upload the cities. Is it possible to upload Org/SW/etc buildings?
Update: I am currently busy with end-of-the-year-school-stuff which is why I haven't actively been writing on these forums (I have been checking in every day though, don't worry), and I got some things planned for the Christmas Holiday, so you won't see me as much as you might have before until mid-January.
Can we get more buildings? Also, can we get some that look similar to the WC3 structures or upload the cities.
Most buildings are .wmo, which can't be converted/exported with the exporter provided. I have exported those I could find which were in their normal .m2 version. (And they are on the front page, they are not many).
I really hate to ask this but i would LOVE to see the models you have at the moment include their jump animations. I think it sucks they already dont :(

The thing is, the jump animation is split up into 3 seperate animations, one is for when they start jumping, the other is their fall animation for while they're in the air, and then the last is when they land.

I'm not sure if you're trying to say it wouldnt work or its just to much work (which i understand lol). In terms of would it work in sc2, yes... its quite easy to blend multiple animations together :)
Question: Is it possible to also convert costum Warcraft 3 models so they can be used in Starcraft 2? Maybe there is a way to get the Warcraft 3 models into the WoW Model Viewer and then go the same way as the tutorial does it. Ever thought about that?

Kael'thas on the first page uses the WoW version of the Blood Mage.
You have to extract them, then you get the .tga and .m3 files.

i have a necropolis, but well it only have stand animation, so not really usefull.
