I won't be finishing Amber Sun yet (at the date of writing, I am nearly finishing mission 6/10), but I have plans for more to come. I like to play with ideas, and I've learned lately how collaboration can work in my advantage, so I thought I might create this thread as a loose discussion/wishlist/what-have-you room. That being said, I probably won't let people actually do stuff on my maps yet, unless said person has something really valuable to contribute with. However, I might consider letting someone co-writing a script, or do terrain if said person is really good at it.
Anyway, here are my plans so far:
A Protoss campaign that will act as a prequel to Crimson Moon and Amber Sun, telling the story of the Khaal-Ro. I've been meaning to branch out race-wise, and this way I can do it while still sticking with my vision and expanding the universe. Going back in time also mean that I can let player control someone like Quarinius.
A Terran campaign currently called Mercenaries, which will be about mercenaries. I find the concept of privatized combat intriguing, and it opens up for a lot of interesting story-lines (what goes inside the head of a hired gun as opposed to one who fights for something he believes in?), as well as gameplay ideas.
Obviously, I can't say too much, but considering how little is planned, I suppose there is ample room for people to contribute story ideas, cinematic ideas, gameplay ideas... well, everything, really! And I mean everything. For instance, one thing I want to do, is start one mission inside an installation, have a lot of people talk about the outside location, and then have the next mission open up with a wide revealing shot of said location. It's a small detail, but that's where the devil, isn't there?
So if you have ideas for locations, gameplay, boss fights, cinematic stuff, story ideas, feel free to contribute! :D
That sounds really cool, actually. Some time ago I was thinking about doing one in a partially flooded installation, where you'd lose oxygen (and eventually life) every time you went underwater. It's a crazy idea, but I like crazy ideas.

Ooh, that could have great potential in combination with that raise lava triggering, only for water. I assume it will work for water as well as lava.
Instead of instant kill when the water raises you lose life (or get a timer and a speed reduction)
The Underwater one is cool , but imo needs some refining : Why are you underwater ? Were you on a boat and it fell underwater ? The scenario is something like Abyssal City ( GSL Map ) or a new one ? Also , the gameplay seems ok.
Some time ago ( Woah , its been 2 years already ) i was planning a Mercenaries campaign with some friends... we were 4 , but only the terrain for the first 5-6 was finished. ( It was a 25 mission campaign ). Obv , it wasnt as beautiful as yours , and they had a very standard gameplay. However , themes were cool : there were Prisons , Cities destroyed by zergs , sandlands , Ice protoss temples , and particular rooms of ships. Nothing you didnt do :D I could came up with some ideas , tough.
One idea I have is that the mercenary company you work for have what I call a "Raider" group (name might very well change), which purpose is to disguise themselves as terrorists, hitting towns and other important locations to create artificial demand for the mercenary company. It's essentially manufactured warfare, all in the name of profits. Could make for some interesting storylines.
Another idea I have is that the main character in the campaign, who is not only a member of the mercenaries, but also part of the Raider group, suddenly finds her company being employed by a group she personally detests, but must nonetheless obey if she wants to make a living.
