It's really not much, but I am looking for an "Ability Concept Designer". What I mean by that is I need someone (or many people) to help with my upcoming map. I don't want to divulge too much (as the execution isn't so hard) but it is a "troll-y" game. So I need people to help think of "troll-y" abilities.
If you have any ideas or would like to fill this position, please PM me or reply via this thread. This is a side project and I plan to take my time so feel free to reply whenever, as I still have to set up the beginning stuffs and all that jazz.
Also, if you would like to help with Terraining I could always use help with that.
I am largely inactive, but I am still around. Feel free to poke me if you need some help, just be warned that I only really come back if I need help and/or if I'm posting a new map/library.
Release is planned for 65 main levels, each level is planned to have 5 abilities. Going like that and doing the math, it comes out to 325 to start. I plan at least 100 levels before I move on from the project and hope to fill the whole command card/dialog with abilities each level.
So yeah it's fairly large in that respect.

I'm sorta floating between projects at this point. So I am aiming very high in the event I can actually make it that far.
Having some help thinking of ideas only helps the process along, which is why I mentioned to take your time. It's got quite a ways to go.

Be aware that there is a limit to the number of abilities you can have on one unit before things start to glitch and act a little funny. From my own experience that limit is somewhere between 30-40 abilities on one unit. Once you get over a certain amount of abilities on one unit you start to run into things like abilities disappearing in game and things like that.
Right now I am uncertain on a large number of the mechanics, but I have basic ideas. Dialog abilities are likely going to be implemented.
If not, I'll make sure to remember this. Thanks for mentioning it. :)

How big is your project? We talking ten abilities, fifty, or two-hundred?

That seems like a crazy amount of work. I would think its better to aim at 10-20 abilities that are really well thought through and balanced :)
