Income Wars is a fun Custom map on Starcraft II. The objective of the game is to destroy your opponents single protoss cannon using different units you purchase up top in the market. Although this game is quite fun, there is a major flaw.
Players usually nuke the 'market' where you purchase units ruining the game. Nuking that area will destroy unit buying. The author simply forgot to put invincibility at that place.
Imagine playing Nexus wars and when your teammate nukes your base, it kills your nexus, units, buildings and your scv. Fail
What is funny is that it is one of the top custom maps only because people enjoy nuke race - whoever can nuke the top in the first second of the game wins.
Hopefully, patches will come to fix the major flaws, IE: thor colossus are overpowered
I can understand Thor being overpowered... but how does the Colossus, with its extremely easy hardcounter, is any kind of overpowered? Send Air -> they're screwed.
not to mention tauren marine three shots the Command center, Atleast. i think it did.i called in a tauren marine and the entire lane pushed and before i knew it i was on the victory screen
Well the nuking problem has been fixed. But I have noticed some other small problems. Most notibly is the Unit cap now in place. Once this has been reached no one can build anymore. But the cap is not restricted to one side. It is a global cap. So this can result in some serious one sided battles than are completly unwinnable. People are starting to take advantage of this...save their money and mass carriers. The little ships in the carriers, once spawned, count into the cap. So people are racing to mass carriers and deny the other side the ability to build. Now while this may freeze the building on both sides, once the enemies being overpowered have been nuked, some people are actually coordinating mass Void Rays to fill the cap asap thus denying the other team completly with the ability to build or even defend them selves. Perhaps changing the cap to a team based restriction rather than a global cuttoff.
i think this map should have a limit of how much u can summon .. and every unit should take cap , bigger units = more cap .. and etc :)
the cap should be every player has X cap .. because if team has cap .. people are going to argue...
HEy why u summoned voids.. hey why u summoned vessels .. and etc etc..
so a individual cap will be much better... :)
Science Vessels are extremely overpowered with the combination of thor or battlecruiser. They heal mech units way too fast and are really cheap to get.
and Hero Carrier + Science Vessels is god like; impossible to kill.
Yep SVs are very strong right now. Not sure I am happy about them being in the game. It becomes less about getting correct counters and more about getting high HP tanky units that can be healed forever.
the nuke has been fixed within 15 minutes but nobody uploaded it to the NA server. I know the problem was there but I've been unable to do anything about it as an EU player.

this is just impossible. I know the triggers. Everyone has his own 75 gas per round and intercepters don't even interact with it.
there is no and has never been an team unit cap, map unit cap or anything like this.
since 3.15 there is an 75 units per player per 30 seconds cap.
