I minor idea I had awhile back that would be cool would be to have a pylon power calldown ability. This could be for any spellcaster, I don't care, but it might be better for the psi-link spire or something. It summons a mini warp prism at the target building only. If used on a pylon, it extends the area that it powers buildings, but if used on anything else, it powers that structure and gives it a minor production speed bonus. It only lasts like 5-30 seconds though. This could be useful if you have an enemy destroy all your pylons, but you want to continue powering your buildings.
@SheogorathSC: Go I really want to bring Phase Shift and Vortex back, but maybe not for a structure. I think the Vortex ability should go to the hybrid Dark Herald unit (it uses Zeratul's ship model).
Yeah, I want to use this one too, the Mothership Core had such an ability during early tests and there's even a good icon for it in the editor.
Lol, HoTS really inspired some gimmicky RPG abilities, I can totally see it in a SNES boss unit.
Too many structure protection abilities going on, will we be able to actually destroy structures? ;-)

For the warp suggestion I guess the new Shuttle with help moving between bases, it needs to target one of the player's structures, so it kind of works the way you suggested. I wanted to update it last night but the editor fails to complete it.

Since the Tempest in the mod was added even before HoTS beta, we didn't have the real model, and I wouldn't be able to use it anyway, because I could be banned for using a HoTS model in WoL. After the update you will have the real Tempest.
Primal Zerg is already one of the new broods avaiable for zerg players. I still haven't decided how to use the evolutions in the campaign. The only one being used right now is the Raptor as an option to Banelings.
@Kanitala: Go Hmmm calldown pylon from the sky? I like that, specially it a tribe ever disables the Warp Prism. I was talking about the campaign Shuttle, the 'Protoss Frigate'. Maybe yours would go well with your pylon suggestion in the same tribe, it would still have a transport, but the power field would come from a totally different mechanic.
Well, technically the Golden Armada isn't a tribe in itself. I believe Auriga is responsible for it and most of the ships come from this tribe. I agree the name is awesome XD so maybe I'll add it to the tribes description somehow.
No need to be sorry. I want to add the Archangel as a hero, but I still haven't figured out all the gimmicks it uses. Boss units are widely different from playable units and turning one into the other can be complex and time consuming.

I need to say I've been trying to update the mod since last night, but a God damn error 3258 makes it fail at 100%. I already reported it to blizzard but no answer so far. So I'm working on the mod. I fixed more bugs and added some smaller stuff.
EDIT: Some scrapped abilties are avaiable in the editor, like the Oracle's Entomb. I can add those, but only if I have a suitable unit. Anysuggestions for Entomb, Preordain, and possibly others?
Kanitala’s model could be a replacement for the oracle (an auir version), where it could have entomb, ability to heal, a normal ground attack, or based on one goal’s version where it gain’s energy from enemy buildings and can produce hallucinations that do weaker damage. Never thought the hurricane was low quality, then again never played it in game. we need a poll on prefered models.
I think laserdrill tank should cost 3 place but not 4 (I dont remamber faction name of those from now one i will call it mobius)
New marine for mobious faction good vs armored less good vs light infantry - thay have splash damadge
Also i think all Terran factions must have special upgrade for marines )

One thing I know is that it could be dependency-related only if its caused by the Swarm Story mod. And this one I can't remove because some files only exist if I use it. It could be cause by another thing entirely but I've tried everything I could think of, so I guess I'll have to sit and wait for blizzard. :-(

Oh and an idea I had while thinking of 'strain' variations for other races (like in HotS Campaign) that I'll post in here: A Warp Prism variant, the Prism Cannon. My idea is that it can be switched between either providing a power field, or having some kind of energy attack (effectively making it a repositionable defense) while in Phasing mode, but can't do both at the same time so the choice is somewhat strategic.
I imagine this as using a Behaviour to Enable/Disable the weapon and power field rather than a unit morph as that would get very complicated as it's already a morpher. I also imagine the option to switch modes being available while in Transport mode but only has any effect when in phasing mode. Hopefully this post makes sense ^_^'
An obvious benefit of this is the Prism can provide cover fire for the units it's transporting (not sure if it can be made so it can fire it's weapon while unloading or not)

Is haveing a call down "lazer/missle" been mentioned in this forum? where a singular building would be be able to instant kill a singular unit for mana/cost anywhere on the map?. I get this idea from the Hammer of Dawn where it's from a satalite and focuses on a target. perpose is it woulde replace the nuke but be able to target turtling defences such as seige tanks, sawrm host, bunkers, cannons, spine crawler from afar. Too think there was a time a suken coloney could instant kill a marine; how defences have changed. It's Wouln't be able to take out a cc, but mabey do up to half damage (so if it was targetted on protoss Nexus, shield would replace the damage. This could go in a faction of itself or a split option for the nuke; nuke is 20sec chance to hit everything or nothing at all while the other option is a instant kill 1 to 4 units. On another note in the far future would it be interesting to have flash freeze and lava rise be added to a map?
Be sure to check out the extension mod: Hots Custom Map support on NA and EU, Despite the name it greatly expands the roster of options for the default 3 races and is updated all the way to NCO.
@Kanitala: Go It sounds as a nice idea for an 'evolution' mechanic. But I don't feel this mod needs attacking Warp Prisms. They fit their role and I'd rather givem them option to improve/make this role different somehow. And I can't really buff Warp Prisms if I want to add the Shuttle as an option.
@FreezingAcidRain: Go I'd rather give it to a unit. Buildings dont cost supply which means you can always mass produce them if you need, and if each one can auto-kill a unit it could become an auto-win build.

I wouldn't give entomb to any unit, it'd have to a harassment based unit. I don't know what could use it besides the oracle though...

then why not make it so only one can be build with a recharge time (a cooldown time/mana cost to kill 4 at the same time or 1 uinit 1/4 the time)
