Finally going for a thread to catch some feedback and have a place for patchnotes and stuff when the balance is anytime nearly ready.
The latest big change was to implement the goliath. He was going the same way like the tank. First to weak, then buffd to stronk and nerfed again.
I think he is quiet ok atm. The Job i wanted for the goliath was to bring some fairness in midgame. My map has the problem, that u can often see after 5 minutes who will win. The Goliath is available when all Players have 50 Kills. At this point the leading Player(s) has about 300-600 Kills. The Goliath cost the amount of ur Kills, so the last one can buy it for 50 mineralz and maybe can get back into game with it. The maximum of price is 800.
Sometimes he looks imba. Imo is everything in my map imba! Bunkerarmorupgrades are imba, shriketurretdmg is imba, tankarmor and dmg, BUT nothing is in lategame imba like the marines!!! All the mech in the map is just support.
1 thing about Gameplay: When a Players gets the lead, he usualy invest all he got (and this is usually much) in marines offense and u will put ur little money in def or mech. At this point all has to play together. When leading Player is fighting anywhere on the map, go in his base and kick some Lv.0 bunker, so he has to invest in some def and at this point u can get him!
But sadly it gets too lagy for me with 300+ marines, you should add some kind of supply limit. Also I think all the other models you use as reward for lvl instead of marines have much more poly than the marine and lags the game even more.
Also you should maybe lower the bonus you mineral you get for killing bunkers.
And If you want I can add to it my ranking system (check out split TD). As lvl not really represents people skill.
Yes, something like that would be nice. I hate to work with dialogs! They dont like me and i hate them!
A system like the urban thing would be master league! With nice dialogs, full stats saving and some grades or ranks in the leaderboard.
If anyone is good in such things and want to add it say me.
I use german editor, couldt make some problems, and dont worry to much about my messy triggers :)
Actually if you want to use the split td's system I could copy paste it in under some minutes. (3 of my map using it, so I getting more and more experienced with it.D)
I implemented allready a ready leaderboard here from mapster. Its all in all just awesome 4 me but i dunno if i can work all out what i change and add atm.
If everything fail and i go back to my backup of actually uploaded version i come back to you.
I played ur map 2-3 times but cant remember the leaderboard. need to play it!
I dont worked now long time on this map. I dont started my SCII now for 2 weeks :) since it falls over 1k hours down to page 5.
If anybody wnat to release it on other servers say me. I use the german editor, dunno if some "parameter value" would be there.
Known bugs:
When u build a Ghost in a full Bunker with Marouders, it can be gone for nothing. I dont order the builded Unit to go into the bunker, i remove it and create a new one in the bunker. Its half fixed, this dont happen with marouders, just ghosts.
When anybody play the map the very first time, he has instead of rank recruit a purple quad at leaderboard till he make his first kill.
When u get Levelup after a match with the exp for a win, u first levelup in next match with ur first kill, ur exp bar will be overfull like 3450/3000.
This is not fine, but u will never loose a single exp-point with my solution.
additional issue is: the map has the problem like many maps, u see to soon whos ganna get imba and win. Thats was the job of the goliath to balance because he cost the amount of ur kills. But after that remake of him he is balanced and not mor a gamebreaker like before, so atm the goliath is kinda broken atm.

y, nice but the map is not really ready. In some versions we can do that.
I really like this map. (like I loved the W3 one)

i edited a big call for betatester in loadingscreen of actual map, i hope in about 20 mins some guys will come.

Also you could use other textures instead changeing the marine to higher poly unit. (there is a nice tutorial about changing textures here: http://forums.sc2mapster.com/resources/tutorials/20772-data-actor-events-message-texture-select-by-id/ )

in my map the score and ranks arent stored in the leaderboard, It has dialog at up left.
new version uploaded, new leaderboard is ready. 44 ranks outa BF2142 added, Goliath remaked, mass balance fixes.

Anyone here to release it on NA? My best position on EU was 1.place on page 2 with nearly 1.8k hours. Wanna see if my map can make it on NA :)
