Personally i prefer the building. I use InvEdit to get some tools and basic building equipment (such as infinite cobblestone and dirt) and make stuff. Find exploring a bit boring :/.
Although, i did make a giant sky city with a water elevator. That was cool :)
Minecraft can go to 30million x 30 million x 128 blocks. Not deep at all, but very wide (with each block being 1 cubic meter, it's bigger then the surface area of the Earth). Note that if you actually built something anywhere close to that, it might not be playable.
While I've never played minecraft, I did come across a cool, rather large construction someone did make:

Who else plays? wait what am i saying? people that play that game never stop so they will never see this thread...
One of my classmates is playing it and can't stop talking about how awesome it is ^^
It's fun. Haha, I bought it awhile ago when it was selling like 30-40 a day. Now it's like what...12,000 a day?

Here I thought someone was planning on making a MineCraft map...
Anyhow, it's lots of fun when playing multiplayer.

Well, using the same concept as your dungeon master map, it may not be hard to do :)
Minecraft is the most retarded game I've ever seen.
A SC2 Minecraft map would be the most popular mother fucker of all time, save whole areas in a bank that you can load and stuff. Brilliant!
Kinda thinking about making this now....
Maybe I'm just not creative enough, but I found it really boring. I had more fun finding intricate ways to destroy other users work.

except one of the coolest things in minecraft is the exploration which a 256x256 map cant have much of lol

How big can minecraft get ? A if we have a cube of size 0.25 for sc2, we can get 2048x2048x2048 (not sure about the heigt limit in sc2map)

I totally agree. It doesn't look very appealing and it gets in the way of Starcraft modding =D
The game looks very very fun from what I have watched on youtube. I played the free version, which rather sucks. I wish the world was deeper though.
X's adventures in Minecraft are some good videoes, I was up until 5 am finishing the series.
Kay, just watched some videos. Time to go plaaay.
I'm just gonna drop this here ;)

Yeah I bought it back in the day.
Still pretty sick, haven't been playing lately, waiting for the update to spark my interest.
