Hi! I've been able to test maps I've made with no problems at all before. But somehow, when I was going to test my map out, I can't even get into the game. My monitor just goes black and I get an error (scroll down for details). I can play Sc2 by itself fine. No problems with that. It's when I'm in the Editor and I press "Test Document" or press "ctrl+f9".
I've even tried this with not doing anything to the map but putting 1 player1 Zealot and 1 Hostile Zergling to see if that would work. But I still get the error.
And as I wrote: I've been able to do maps before. And now, all of a sudden, it does not work. I can't get into SC2 through the map editor. But I can play SC2 normally.
The error tells me that there is a graphic problem or something. I have updated my graphic card(ATi 5850) to the up-to-date driver it has right now(10.9).
I also have Drect X 11.
But how can it be a graphic problem if I can start the game normally without any problems and play? I've tried to Repair as well, but I still get the same error when testing my own custom map through the Editor.
I hope someone knows whats wrong or have had the same problem and solved it.
Thanks!
The error:

Is it only this one map you can't test or does it crash even with a totally empty map?
If it does you should update your graphics drivers and (if that doesn't help) completely uninstall and reinstall SC2.
If not.. you did something nice with you map :]
If the problem still exists after reinstalling you should do what the error report advices you to:
Quote:
"StarCraft II has encountered an unexpected DirectX/OpenGL error. This may indicate an issue with an out-of-date videocard driver. If the problem persists, for more information consult our support website at http://starcraft2.com/support."
Tell them you already tried a reinstall and driver update so they don't annoying you "Please reinstall da game kthxgoaway".
PS: I cut your error report down a bit, as the sheer length made my firefox lag.
I left the modules list in there - maybe someone recognized something useful.
It doesn't matter what map I'm trying to test. I've tried my old maps, new maps, empty maps, maps with 2 units etc.
I guess I'll just have to re-install the whole game. What bums me out is that the site they are referring me to (http://starcraft2.com/support) is not even a working site.
Thanks alot for your answers and I hope it will fix itself after a re-install!
Edit:
@EternalWraith: Go That did not work either. But thanks anyway.
I'll re-install SC2 and get back posting if it works or not.
Edit2:
Re-install did not fix the problem. Too bad.
Apparently the problem was the Resolution I was using in SC2. Apparently the Starcraft 2 Editor could not handle it so I had to cut it down to 1920x1080.

Thanks!

@Nozpa: Go
Ah. I had this error before(long time ago)....Damn, if only I could remember what exactly had caused it...(I have a 5850 too)
Edit: Try setting all your vid options in the editor to low, Test, and see if that helps at all?
