Many of blizzard's maps feature a deep cliff level, inwhich is a fog. I've found a fog doodad but unless I spam like 50 of them in the same place I can't replicate this feature. I was just wondering how to this. If it helps im using the belshir tile set.
Yeah I tried that. I can't select the fog which makes me think its not a doodad but some sort of preferencae. I thought lightning but I couldn't find anything there. I'll keep looking. Thanks.
I was looking for the same thing (which led me to this thread)... if you haven't figured it out yet, I think what you're looking for is in the Data Editor under Terrain Texture Sets. Find the planet you're working on, and change the fog values. No triggers this way... this is how Blizzard achieved the look in many of their maps (ie: Zeratul mission Echoes of the Future)
EDIT: As a side note, you can also edit the gravity in this section... lol

I can't check the map editor right now but can't you just open one of the campaign maps with the fog and skim through it?

It's an environmental fog, search environmental fog thread by me.
Awesome, thank you.
