Could I get any insights into how to make the (raynor) snipe ability run on a unit constantly so that the unit always looks at the mouse, but without interrupting other orders (such as movement) or doing anything if you click?
can't be done. there is no way to follow the mouse in the editor. so you can't let a unit face the mouse position.
this has been asked a million times. use the search function
actually, the method he has said is in theory to be the key to making such a thing possible. People have looked into, including me, but gave up, but with enough knowlege of the data editor, using a ref var along with an actor attached to the mouse when you use an ability, a workaround could be found.
