How do i make a custom loading screen. I already made my picture in paint and i saved it as a jpg but when i try to import it, it never works. It shows up in green and when i try to click on browse to add it to my loading screen it won't show up.
I've made custom images from screenshots for the arcade tips and how to play tabs but the loading screen is giving me problems for some reason...The how to play screenshots and arcade tips images are saved as a tga file, but i have no idea what that is. Somehow i made it work before but i can't remember how i did it.

Gotta use Photoshop or gimp and use TGA or .DDS format.
@Stormahawk: Go If you're using Photoshop's nVidia DDS plugin you can switch the compression mode into a better one. I suggest DTX1 for load screens as you won't need alpha channels anyway.

TGA works for loading screens? Awesome.
DDS works better, but TGA works fine too.
When I convert my images to .tga or .dds, it seems to make a 200kb image into 8mb. How do I get around that?

I use GIMP. I currently do not have access to photoshop.
Try Aorta, it's a little program that can convert to dds, and it can also convert in batches.
