I was working on my map, then i duplicated a Unit, as you normally do, then all of a sudden.. every single unit now has the Duplicated Unit's model overlapped it.. Please help, heres a Screenshot...
OH! That happened to me once, I just quit the map. So annoying, there was a zergling actor on EVERYTHING. I would just kill that actor, personally. But I'm guessing there's something wrong in the events. Re-set the events to the parent value.

A model actor had a unit birth event that was wrong...
Or a actor type (model) wasn't linked to a unit (at the top). And make sure that field is actually a link. Sometimes it glitches and just turns it into text.
Be careful I've had this bug infect a months worth of saves.
If you have issues on a previous save or 2 you need to do the following:
Delete the infected files. Delete any sc2/bnet cache you can find (check appdata). Restart your computer. Reload a non-infected save and see if this issue still persists. I've had this infect cross-map as well. Also delete all downloaded maps (the ones with the wierd formatting). If you tested the map then it becomes another downloaded map.
Thats what I've had to do to solve my issue with this actor. The data editor is powerful. Its also a piece of shit.

@Pshyched: Go Have you duplicated the unit's actor? Check the actor's events first. Maybe the creation event is bugged.

You probably have an event like this in one of your actors:
If you don't specify a unit type for the Unit Birth event, it will just trigger for every unit and create an actor for all of them.
Yup, Kueken531 is right, check your actor's events for whatever actor happens to be created for any unit.
Stuff like that is why I never dupe.

There are 2 reasons for this that I've found:
