Just for practice I've been working on a custom hanger ability for a unit. What I mean is I'm making it from scratch. I've gotten it to the point where the little ships(I'm calling them terran fighters and they are scaled down battlecruisers) appear but after that they just sit there and when the carrier unit moves they explode. If anyone has any ideas as to whats going on please let me know.
If anyone wants to see I'll post the map. Other than data editor stuff it isn't very exiting though
Also I'm thinking I might use this map as the base for a mod. How do I use the MPQeditor to transfer data editor data to a modfile?
Thanks! I got the "interceptors" to not die instantly after being used. However I can't seem to make it so that they fly around like the ones the carrier has.(I made them uncommandable after I realized that I commanding them, they didn't attack when I commanded them to attack though.) If anyone has any insights as to why they can't move I'd be very appreciative. I've attached an updated version of the map.

Someone at least answer my question about MPQeditor
1. You need to use recall option in the hanger ability (oppose to destroy =0=)
2. Your "interceptors" needs movement
As for mod. You just have to copy the locale folder enGB or enUS to a new mod.
Also All the game data and trigger library you may have.
