Well, I have decided to take the reigns of the SC 2 map editor up again, and created a new map called Korhal VS. Xel'Naga.
This map relies on the regular core mechanics of SC 2 game play, and yet also has a few custom bits, and has its own special appeal. So it is pretty much a Melee/Custom map.
In this game, you start out as either the Korhal (Terrans) or the Xel'Naga (Protoss), and the objective is to defeat the other player (Just like Melee). What is different about this map, is you start with high yield minerals, and 2 regular gas, but there are no, and I mean no expansions. You also start off with a hero, of which you only get one, so use it wisely!
The map itself is set as if the two players were facing each other at an angle. There are three entrances to the other side of the map. The main, and the two destructible side entrances. The cliffs are two stories high, so reapers arent much use here (Not like their much use anyways.) and there are buildings, and ruins to get in your way at every turn.
The map itself is 80 by 80 (I think) so it is a very, very tiny map (get used to it).
I hope you guys enjoy it, I quickly whipped it up today, and so far, its actually a pretty decent map, so please, try it out for me :)
To find it, just search in the custom maps menu "Korhal" and it should be the top one.
