The RPG called "Rise of Nigma" is a project I've been working on along with a few others who came and went since August 2011. I am currently in need of a Data Editor that will strictly make custom abilities for the RPG. There are a lot of spells that need to be made, and I am even willing to compensate, if you want.
The RPG hosts a multitude of new mechanics that is not seen to often in games. For example, there will be Dual Casting (like dual wielding). If you are interested in learning more, please feel free to contact me via SC2 or PM. Thank you in advance.
Below you can find some screenshots of the first dungeon. (Note: There is no marine class, just there for aesthetics) There are also some screenshots of the outdoor areas.
The spells vary in different difficulties. I need them to be made with just the graphical effect with a buff placer. For example, "Fireball" would just need to look like a fireball being shot out the caster and place a buff on the target. All spells will deal no damage, as everything is triggered in. I just need the buff to be able to tell when a missile impacts on the target.
Some are pretty basic like Fireball, some are AoE skills that require a little more intricate work, but we can talk over everything directly. There's hundreds of spells to be made, and not all of them will be made through data editor. Thanks for the interest.
EDIT: Targetting is also different here. Forgot to mention this. In order to cast a spell, you need to have a target highlighted, with the exception of some spells, such as target-placed buffs.
We wouldn't need any tricks like that. We'd just access the spells with triggers and put them on the custom spell bar, completely bypassing giving units spells.

You might want to detail how many abilities you have. .
A lot could mean 10 to infinity. You're more likely to gather interest if people have a better idea idea of the amount of work you're asking for.

We need roughly 800 spells.
And since its an RPG you might need to consider how do you change the spells and more importantly every spell should be useful. Quality > quantity.
I miss wc3 remove add ability :(...Now you have to do all kinds of tricks to change abilities :/
