I guess they do look a bit similar, but not that much. At first I expected that they modeled Ashley after her voice actor (Like Yvonne Strahovski / Miranda), but it turns out her voice actor looks very different. (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2003743/)

I honestly did not expect that at all. Yeah in ME2 they really tried to model them after the actors Martin Sheen for instance.
