Probably the same reasons you bothered to reply to me? Troll points? Gotta catch them all? You should have the ability to ignore the thread. Read the previous posts for discussion on the futile "lock this thread movement"; it's missing a drum circle.
Were you sheltered or are you really that naive? Why do we care? Why do religious people care that gay people should marry? It literally does not affect them in the slightest and yet this is what we see:
Why did Chick-Fil-A sponsor anti-gay groups? How is what these people are doing not considered a hate crime yet? I just don't get it. Even my parents and their friends have expressed these beliefs. That's why there's no such thing as moderate religion. Everyone who believes is an extremist, and the world would be better off without religion entirely.
Do I even need to mention that Muslims have been killing people over a half-assed movie that nobody had heard of before? Just watch this for a second:
Such god awful production quality and acting. You think we care that much about religion because we post in a thread? 50 people died because of this movie. Is that "trolling" enough for you before you finally start to understand? That is, that the Islam religion gives no respect and deserves no respect?
So yes, I care about the negative effects of religion very much. And you're a bigot if you don't. People may think there's nothing wrong with "moderate beliefs", but they don't realize that there are consequences that go along with that.
I understand completely........ its just.... i have no sympathy your issues....
theres more important things to care about
You realize even if there were no religions .... people would still have anti gay opinions right.....
I'm a bigot because I don't think gay couples should get Marriage privileges from the government?
Gay people can get married any time they want anywhere. In some countries they'll hang ya. But here in the good old usa, we just ignore you(ie not recognizing at a government level). Where actually I don't believe the state should recognize any form of marriage.
And if your an atheist..... marriage should just be meainingless to you..... marriage is a religious institution you noobs.
Marriage inst a right..... its a benefit to help married couples raise a proper family....
I have no problem with gay people. Nor do I have any problems with non gay people.
I just dont think their "marriages" should be treated the same.
Thats called living in reality.
Other wise they wouldn't call it gay-marriage. They'd call it marriage.
And really if you think im a bigot for that belief.... That makes you a bigot......
And I really dont mind being called a bigot.... but i perfer to go by asshole.
if so many people were that upset about it then they should pick up arms and fight the good fight....
LMAO bunch of homos picking up guns to fight for something.... I wonder if they'd were rainbow uniforms....
but I digress ......Lock this pointless thread......
So these intolerant liberals can go piss and moan else where.
I can not for the life of me ignore a topic that both religion and politics meet.
You realize even if there were no religions .... people would still have anti gay opinions right.....

I don't think stupid people should be allowed to marry and have children. You're basically fucking up natural selection. Why can't I impose my "religious" beliefs on you to stop you from getting married?
I don't think stupid people should be allowed to marry and have children. You're basically fucking up natural selection. Why can't I impose my "religious" beliefs on you to stop you from getting married?
because if you imposed that kinda shit on me.... i have the balls to pick up a fire arm and use it.
how does it effect natural selection? Homosexuality doesn't lead to breeding...
And I think its funny how you call me stupid because I disagree with your point of view...... kinda sad imo.
I'd be glad to settle this with a gentlemanly duel at 30 paces.... but alas that's not legal either......
how dare the government not recognize our right to settle disagreements with a simple duel
I use this argument against Christian anti-gay idiots.
"Would you tolerate someone demanding you wear a burqa? No. Then why should a non-Christian care about your beliefs about marriage?"
I've yet to see anyone form a coherent reply.
my reply is...... im against it and religion has nothing to do with my belief.
what good does it provide society that the government recognize it?
If i was gay.... and I wanted to get married...... and I lived somewhere why they didn't recognize it..... I would still get married........
so really there's nothing stopping you. Its not actually illegal.... it just isnt recognized.....
and to further the trolling.....
I also believe that godlessness and homosexuality being so readily accepted by society has its own negative aspects.... not completely but enough to the point where I really don't care which way things go in the long run.
I just think your a bunch of loons for being all "ANTI-RELIGION".... get a hobby!!!
Gay people will be allowed to get married. Marriage isn't a religious institution; marriage CEREMONIES are religion oriented; marriage is the freedom to marry whom you choose to marry. If your church isn't going to marry gay people, then another church or an atheist institution will marry gay people. The freedom of homosexuals to marry their homosexual partners stem from Freedom of Religion (and Freedom FROM Religion) and Freedom of Speech.
Only allowing heterosexual couples to receive special medical, tax, etc benefits, is discrimination. Either extend the benefits to homosexual couples or totally eliminate the benefits for all.
Government recognition of homosexual marriage is no different than government recognition of mixed nationality marriage or non-white marriage. Black marriage, especially black-white marriage, used to be illegal, too.
By the way, it was the state legislatures to first ban pistol duels, and I believe Virginia made it illegal to make fun of someone for refusing to duel. If pistol dueling was still legal, politicians would probably be far more careful about using personal attacks and vitriolic statements.
actually what gay people want isnt the marriage, its the tax cuts, its nothing but greed....
And its sick and demeaning.. to be honest, And now gays have made it illegal to attend Gay Conversion Therapy in CA for minors, meaning that if the parents decide or if the kids want it, that help is gone.
Evil Spreads it never stays still. But lets not make this a discussion about gays....
If you love gays soo much then go screw a dude or something...
And btw, another thing gays have been spouting is religious persecution, Meaning that they think anyone who doesnt agree with them should be executed many of the LGBT have said it...
ALSO the ones that are Christians are fighting so that the churches are FORCED to marry them, So how about you get off your high horse because if its where Atheist and gays are then Its nothing special.
I've thought about the issue too, and removing God or diminishing his imagery as portrayed seems to be the direct solution. But this act seems to entice or provoke rather than heal.
This is normal. But to anyone who must remove God from men is faced with the responsibility of at least giving them an alternative and do the same cycle with those alternative, all the while keeping people from going to extremes in whatever aspect of their lives.
What I know is that when something is stored in a person and these thing builds up overtime for so long and one suddenly pops the cork, a burst will always follow.
In the past some non-believers drop to intense emotions because they did not prepare an alternative route.
So this is my proposal:
first promote an alternative route, which deals with both material and spiritual (or cognitive or emotional or whatever that is called), and affirm this to a point that it becomes so fundamental it would sound insane to not at least admit this contains truth.
then support the people who will abandon their worldviews for yours, based on the fundamental truths that is held by this alternative route, all the while not being hostile to those who would not.
then repeat.
The agenda must be totally selfless. The leader or the promoter must not try to gain what is commonly held valuable either in the realm of personal desires or political, nor must it hold or try to gain what is in scarce supply seen in the masses. The aim must be because of truth and nothing else.
The promoter must be spotless from all angles, that nothing can be said against him/her/it that might be used to diminish it's authority, and it must express it's authority not as a dictator but as a liberator. A liberator not of force, but of the pursuit of both personal and social liberation. Liberation not from deed to value, but from worth to value. From the direction which starts from within which extends outwards.

And as for Man and Man marriages, the government can create a new name, "Union" and then just pour in the legal shit that's in marriages with Man and Woman that has been abused and used as bullets to people involved.
I honestly am disgusted with Marriage simply because it's not what it is. It's only for stuff you can do with the court.
Marriage is union between two persons deep inside. Dicks to ass or dicks to vagina doesn't mean shit. Any person can be fucking his "wife" or "husband" but don't feel the connection that's supposed to be the deepest and fundamental element that drives a relationship.
Religion can talk shit loads of things to keep this sick cycle going, but damn, God knows their hearts more than themselves.
my reply is...... im against it and religion has nothing to do with my belief.

I have beheld the births of negative-suns and borne witness to the entropy of entire realities... Unto my experience, Aldaris, all that you've built here on Aiur is but a fleeting dream. A dream from which your precious Conclave shall awaken, finding themselves drowned in a greater nightmare."

So like.... telling people that their religion is pointless..... is the most serious form of trolling...
why do you care..... does it have any impact on you ......
religion is just a belief system........
such as I believe your a tool for wasting your time.....
on the other hand I feel my time is much better focusing my trolling on you because I feel that it is needed......
if your an atheist then be godless sinner...
Im a godless sinner and yet, I understand that the peasants need their Santa clauses and JC superstars.
Let it go....
Somebody lock this before I feel the need to increase my Troll level over 9000!!!
@SouLCarveRR: Go
Probably the same reasons you bothered to reply to me? Troll points? Gotta catch them all? You should have the ability to ignore the thread. Read the previous posts for discussion on the futile "lock this thread movement"; it's missing a drum circle.
@SouLCarveRR: Go
Were you sheltered or are you really that naive?
Yeah, religion is just a belief system. That's why we have people protesting at dead soldier's funerals, entire generations of kids being indoctrinated with anti-scientific beliefs, and I get tired of seeing articles like this pop up: http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/09/26/its-for-your-good-let-me-finish-afghan-canadian-told-police-she-stabbed-daughter-with-kitchen-knife/
So yes, I care about the negative effects of religion very much. And you're a bigot if you don't. People may think there's nothing wrong with "moderate beliefs", but they don't realize that there are consequences that go along with that.
@Gradius12: Go
I understand completely........ its just.... i have no sympathy your issues....
theres more important things to care about
You realize even if there were no religions .... people would still have anti gay opinions right.....
Im like a moth to the flame
OBTW .... GO ROMNEY
I use this argument against Christian anti-gay idiots.
"Would you tolerate someone demanding you wear a burqa? No. Then why should a non-Christian care about your beliefs about marriage?"
I've yet to see anyone form a coherent reply.
I don't think stupid people should be allowed to marry and have children. You're basically fucking up natural selection. Why can't I impose my "religious" beliefs on you to stop you from getting married?
@Eiviyn: Go
because if you imposed that kinda shit on me.... i have the balls to pick up a fire arm and use it.
how does it effect natural selection? Homosexuality doesn't lead to breeding...
And I think its funny how you call me stupid because I disagree with your point of view...... kinda sad imo.
I'd be glad to settle this with a gentlemanly duel at 30 paces.... but alas that's not legal either......
how dare the government not recognize our right to settle disagreements with a simple duel
my reply is...... im against it and religion has nothing to do with my belief.
what good does it provide society that the government recognize it?
If i was gay.... and I wanted to get married...... and I lived somewhere why they didn't recognize it..... I would still get married........
so really there's nothing stopping you. Its not actually illegal.... it just isnt recognized.....
and to further the trolling.....
I also believe that godlessness and homosexuality being so readily accepted by society has its own negative aspects.... not completely but enough to the point where I really don't care which way things go in the long run.
I just think your a bunch of loons for being all "ANTI-RELIGION".... get a hobby!!!
should really lock this thread
@Eiviyn: Go
Hijab is the correct word.
@SouLCarveRR: Go
Gay people will be allowed to get married.
@FDFederation: Go
actually what gay people want isnt the marriage, its the tax cuts, its nothing but greed....
So this is my proposal: first promote an alternative route, which deals with both material and spiritual (or cognitive or emotional or whatever that is called), and affirm this to a point that it becomes so fundamental it would sound insane to not at least admit this contains truth.
then support the people who will abandon their worldviews for yours, based on the fundamental truths that is held by this alternative route, all the while not being hostile to those who would not.
then repeat.
*** And as for Man and Man marriages, the government can create a new name, "Union" and then just pour in the legal shit that's in marriages with Man and Woman that has been abused and used as bullets to people involved.
Forgive the language.
