I installed an opengl update for my graphics card but it now is making my screen blink... I had to update or else LDD (lego digital designer) would not work. Here is the thing it says I had to do, but it messed me up.
"I have installed LEGO Digital Designer, but whenever I use the shortcut, either nothing happens or I get an error. What is causing this?
This is probably because you have an outdated OpenGL driver in your system. To get a newer version, please update the drivers for your graphics card. For information on how to update your graphics card drivers, please consult your manufacturer."
Hmmm well it is nvidia but I went to there website and chose the right card and waited for it to fully install. It seems to have cleared up as well (I hope)
Well I hope it works out for you. I found out about the full uninstall by surfing NVidia forums because I kept getting very odd graphic problems after updating without an uninstall one time, so now I tend to do the whole process, which is really annoying, but hey it works.
Whole process? I scanned with DriverSmith, went to nvidia, it wanted to see what I need to download, checked if it needed to download, initialized it, and FINALLY installed... thats what I did.

Did you just download and run your Drivers for the vid card?
Some cards(especially NVidia cards) are notorious for requiring a full uninstallation of your previous drivers before installing the updated ones.
It's a hassle and it sux.
You should go to the website and google some searches on how to update your driver if that is the case.
