The 1st set of picture my Improved Bnet pictures. This was when Starcraft II came out and many wc3/sc1 playes wanted to bring back the simple mechanics of Battle.net 1.0. People were screaming for chat channel and open games list.

Map Night
I wanted sc2mapster to come together and party on battle.net. We would play many Custom maps and let everyone share their thoughts/feedback and suggestions to the mappers present. This was the banner I used:
Eve Online
I played eve online for awhile. It was really complicated and quite boring but my old clan members played it. Here is a avatar I made using my eve account:
I gained some recruits and I became leader. Here is my forum signature for eve afterwards:
War of Fantasia - Battle of Gods, Demons and Heroes
This was going to be my risk-type map. After a few maps were getting banned from copyright, I got paranoid and thought that since my map uses names I copied from mythologies, I would get banned too *Lol* stupid me.
Here is the terrain I was working on (Starcraft 1).
Here is the list of the many tribes found. The map was going to have at least 8 players and when the game starts, they start in a random location. This map was going to play like Civilization Saphire map.
Here is the list of the tribes, capitol city and the heroes you can create:
This area of the map was the tech buildings. I think one of them was increasing your unit cap, another one was increasing how many capitol Command Centers you can build - which produces hero units, another one was for increasing tax to conquered lands (more minerals). I was a fan of Civilization maps on sc1 and I was happy someone made Civilization Sapphire. Obviously my map was inspired by Sapphire.
SC1 map editor:
Gondor Castle Assault
I was going an invasion map and players have to work together and hold the castle. Using this picture of LOTR castle as a guideline, I was going to create dozens of chokepoints and a team of 9 players must defend the castle. At the start of the map, 12 main openings was going to be threatened and players was going to have to decide which places to keep and which of them were going to fall. Each of those openings have certain abilities weapons and spells that players can keep and cast. As the game progresses, the enemy invasion gets stronger and harder, pushing us back into the castle. During this time, players must decide which specific corridors/hallways and rooms they must hold. Not all can be save and some group of players would be trapped.
Another idea I had was to encourage players to divide into groups of 3. One idea I had was that a group of 3 players would intentionally trap themselves in a hallway and room until there is not safe path to the rest of the group. When that happens, a secret door will be activated and those players would be able to access a 2nd floor walkway. This walkway would intercept the rest of the group, but trapped higher elevation. From their new vantage point the small group of 3 would be able to access to ballistic arrows.
Edit: Sorry, I know its hard to grasps without pictures. Maybe Ill make the map one day.
gotta say, Your idea for battle.net 1.0... was horrible hahaha, I liked the old battle.net, Lan wasnt a big issue not really that only affected tournies, MY PROBLEM was the lack of open games, unranked ladder, and the placement of the popularity system and the shitty ideas they were talking about cough cough *map marketplace* cough.

Here's all the signatures I made back in the ol' days: http://s2.beta.photobucket.com/user/gradius00/library/sigs
My SC2 box art before they announced this trilogy crap: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y41/gradius00/sigs/dvdscfinal.jpg
I really wished that Blizzard had named it "StarCraft 2" instead of "StarCraft II". Roman numerals belong in warcraft/fantasy, not sci-fi/starcraft.
And did I mention I hate the carrier model: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y41/gradius00/other/goatskullcarrier.jpg
Well Heres some things the GREAT AND POWERFUL wisp made.
