My fav pizza is pizza with cheese, peperonni (Cant remember how to speel sorry), sausage, ham, mushrooms, broccoli, ice cream, pineapple, eggs, bacon, ketchup, mustard, mayo, jelepeno, miracle whip, hamburgar, steak, noodles, apple, watermelon, chicken, all sauces that exist, extra cheese, aaaaaand...CAKE!
It depends, though on average, chicken ('pollo'). I also enjoy salami, anchovy, tuna, pepperoni and diavola (which basically is spicy salami). Everything else I'm mostly indifferent about, except for funghi - I hate mushrooms in any shape or form.
Mine is called "Holte Special" Holte is my city. It has the standard cheese and ham, and then both bacon, pepperoni and small sausages cut in a funky way. To make it look healthy(which it is not), there are added pepper in green, yellow and red. SOOOO delicious! Unfortunate, I only rarely eat it because it is the most expensive pizza they have.
I was first introduced to it a time where I randomly won 3 pizzas at this pizzeria. Me and two friends of cause picked three of these "Holte Special"s because they were the most expensive :D I was hooked from there on

Nope. American Pizza is not the same as Italian pizza. Italian Pizza is more of a slab of bread with tomato sauce and some bits of cheese on, then cooked. American Pizza is the stuff you buy at pizza shops. Italian Pizza isn't nice imo.
I'm partial to many different kinds of pizza, although I heavily prefer pizza with some sort of tasty meat on it. I also prefer pizzas with lots and lots of sauce on it, so deep dish pizza suits that pretty well.
When I went to Italy on a school trip a few years back we got given pasta and pizza every day for dinner by the 'hotel' (It was a pretty crappy place tbh. The rooms were small with a few beds and were freezing. They were also seperate from the main building which was just for the kitchens, reception and dining room. The sights at Amalfi and Vesuvius made up for it though. Well worth a trip). The Pizza was thick slabs of dough with tomato sauce, and a few bits of cheese on, and barely cooked (Cheese wasn't even melted, just warm). They also had some really strange toppings on some days such as 'Sausage and chips' (Everyone ate the toppings and left the rest), 'Pepperoni' (Some random bits of ham) etc.
I think that place had heard that british people like pizza and heard it was different and tried to emulate it. But failed. Horribly. Either way, it was not nice pizza :/.
