I will most likely takeover the mod of a German creator who is going on other projects. I was wondering if it was possible to "transfer" the ownership of a mod to another account in order to evolve and update it? We are talking about a successful mod on EU servers, existing since the early days of sc2.
We are a team to recover and grow the baby.
How should we proceed? Any help cause I cant find a way to reach blizzard on this topic, and no answer on official forums?
You could attempt deleting it on the main account then uploading it under the same name on the second... but I'm guessing this would eliminate all the reviews/etc... If you decide to try it, please report back so others can know.
Otherwise your only option may be to just change the map name on the new account and upload it as a "new" map. Thus leaving the old version, and introducing a new version (old version could tell users about the new one in description and other places).
It ought to be noted that evenif a map is deleted, the exact name cannot be used again in future uploads, by anyone at all, even if it's from the account that published it in the first place.

Your 2nd option seems great and yet I would prefer a transparent experience for users if its technically possible.

I've published/deleted my map like 10 times I never change the .... name?.... oh.... maybe I do....
