I'm having trouble publishing maps from different regions (From NA to EU, KR, SEA, etc). I used to be able to upload to other servers by going to Run > regedit > BattleNetHost. Can anyone help me out in this?
I'm using registry files to change the gateway of the editor.
Just copy the code into notepad, edit it, save it and rename the ending to ".reg". To change the region, just execute it.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\StarCraft II Editor\Preferences]"BattleNetHost"="us.logon.battle.net""BattleNetCharacterProfile"="name#number""BattleNetAccount"="accountMail"
The "HKEY_." line is the path in the registry. The rest are entries and their value.
That file will change the editor's gateway to the US which allows publishing there, if you have an account there.
The profile and the account settings are there to fill in the login data automatically. So you only need to enter the password then.
To switch it back to EU, you need to use "eu.logon.battle.net". The other gateways might have the same address with another prefix.
The BattleNetHost registry entry doesn't exist by default. So if you have ever problems after a future update, remove it.
the OP said it's not working anymore... now I tried it and it's working O_o
Edit:
I think found the problem!
In the previous editor versions the BattleNetHost regkey was read at the moment of publishing, now it's read at the opening of the editor!
Now if you want to publish on a different server you must change the regkey and restart the editor... a bit annoying but at least it's still working
Btw I found it for error.
When I read the OP I changed the regkey and tried to login, it didn't work.
However I forgot to change the regkey back and the next time I logged it was working.

These fucking blizz blues are not answering to the question on the official forums
In regions I see only Default region :|
Should I reinstall EU and US clients to see both?
@Trieva: Go
Can you please do this:
Files -> Preferences -> Battle.net => Export (it exports only the selected option panel)
then please copy paste your file content, maybe reimporting it we are able to publish on US
Blizzard has been in the IRC Sc2mapster channel all day lol
the settings import didn't work :(
how the hell do I publish in US now?

That is the most mundane solution to a problem that has haunted me for much longer than it should have.
Thank you Bibendus.
Can I call you Bibby?
Call me how you want :P

Wait a minute... can we now upload maps to any region (global play?) or are you guys talking about uploading if you have multiple SC2 licenses?
@Tolkfan: Go
you still need more regional accounts do to this :(
