I am working on a project where I want to be able to have a unit go to the say forge in this case and buy an ability that they can use. But once that ability is bought and on a unit it is gone from the forge. Is this possible or is there a better way to do something like this or what??? Any help would be awesome! Thanks!
Sounds like you want to change ownership of it to the player and have it research an upgrade for the player But has a dummy button using a Specialize ability that applies a buff to the unit and then does the research via an issue order effect.

Yeah thats kinda what i wanna do. Basically its an ability that can be bought for any 'Hero' but can only be bought once. Once its bought and given to that 'Hero' its gone (Or grayed out) and cant be bought again.
